The Sad Truth Pt.2

Chapter 6

I was still running from the classroom and I could here everyone arguing in there. It just made me feel even worse. So I decided to hide out in a corner. I put my head in my knees and pretended the world just went away, and that every bad decision I've made, went away.

I didn't realize someone had followed me till I heard my name.

"Rachel?" I heard him say

It felt so good to hear him say my name. But then I remember what just went down in the choir room. I'm not even back a week and I'm already causing trouble. I should've stayed in California.

"I'm sorry Finn" I whispered put it my head down again

I couldn't face him without feeling guilty about all the pain I caused. He's trying to move on with sage and I butt in ruining everything.

I don't here him say anything, and I feel him sit down next to me. It's quiet till I hear him humming something. Well more like rapping,

"Finny D's on the back up
Drug free, so put the crack up
No need for speed
I'm the anti D-R-U-G-G-I-E my
Body is healthy
My rhymes make me wealthy
And the Funky Bunch helps me
To bring you a show with no intoxication
Come on feel the vibration"

I slowly looked up and started laughing, as Finn looked at me and a smile slowly creeped on his face. I continued laughing until I looked at Finn in his eyes.

"I'm sorry," I whispered again

It was quiet for a while again, Finn looked away avoiding eye contact from me,

"Did you do it?" He whispered

I looked at him confused,

"Did you really cheat on me with that jesse guy?" He said a little more clearly now

I stared at him. How could he think that? But in all fairness can I really blame him?

"No" I answered, staring at him in his eyes so he knows I'm not lying

Our little moment is interrupted by the new mean girl herself,

"FINNN!!!!!" She yelled

She saw me and Finn sitting together in our little corner and her pale face grew red. I'm not talking pastel pink, or blushing red, no she turned into a freaken lobster.

Finn and I scramble to stand up as she looked at me and gave me a stink eye and dragged Finn away from me, by his ear. I got mad because that is abuse!

"Hey! Don't drag him by his ear!" I yelled

She let go and came face to face with me and squinted an ugly little squint. Finn rubbed his ear but stepped in front of me before sage could do anything. This just got her more mad, but before she could say anything Finn puffed his chest,

"No, leave her alone sage," he said stern

"I'm your girlfriend, why are you protecting her!??" She said mad

"You and I both know the only reason I'm with you is because of what happened, and I want you to leave Rachel alone" he said mad

I was still standing behind him when she huffed and walked away with fists. I'm not going to lie I was a little scared. But now I'm curious as to what Finn was talking about.

"Finn, what was that about?" I asked him confused and a little worried

"Don't worry about it" he told me

"Finn, when you say something like that, you can't just expect me to not worry about it, tell me what's going on," I begged

I really hope Mercedes and Kurt weren't right and that he didn't get involved into those bad things they were talking about.

"I have to go, but to be safe, don't talk to me," he said walking away

What? To be safe? What the hell?

"Finn what's going on?" I yelled still standing there confused as ever

He just kept walking. I'm so confused. I really hope Finns not talking about what I think he is.

"That's one of the reason you should've stayed gone" I hear behind me

I turn and see Quinn standing there with her arms crossed. She saw my confused face and her face softened.

"Right after you were rumored to be with that other guy Finn went a little off the deep end, it got worse when sage arrived" Quinn explained

I still wasn't getting it, so Quinn sighed,

"Finn is dating sage because she told him that was his only option since he couldn't pay her back," Quinn said

"I don't get it, pay her back for what?" I asked still confused

Quinn took a step closer to me and looked sincere

"Drugs Rachel, Finn was doing drugs" she said

I instantly felt my world crumbling down. I've been looking in all the wrong places to help someone, when really I needed to be helping Finn.
