okay so my mom told me this story that happened to my aunt while she was watching the conjuring on dvd.
my aunt turned on her dvd player and it was perfectly functional. When she put the cd inside, it went straight on annabelle's face in the beginning. there were no opening credits like tristar or paramount pictures or anything like that came up..it just went straight to annabelle's cracked face in the beginning. Then it just froze like that. my aunt can't turn off the dvd player even when she unplugged it. it stayed stuck, frozen like that. yeah, can imagine how terrifying that was for her. she was forced to throw the dvd player away in the morning. and she couldn't even sleep without nightmares for a whole week after that.
