Chapter 89. May The Best Man Wins

Both of them can't accept if whoever wins her heart that easily. Kai doesn't like Jin to win, and Jin doesn't like the idea that Kai will win her heart either. Now who? Who?

Kai let out a smirk and a sigh at the same time, "How pathetic. Suddenly barging someone's property and increases voice all so sudden. I can define it as trespassing, Kim Seok Jin." He fired back. "How can you ever call it trespassing when you even let me enter? Use your head for sometimes, Kim Jong In," Now what the hell is that they were mentioning each other's real name?

"Is that the reason why you're here to ask me, Jin? To ask me if why I left Sapphire?" Despite that I felt pissed, I only nodded once, "Aren't you happy about it? You'll solo her by your own and you got to talk with her everyday." Kai didn't knew, that his heart is now piercing with a sharp knife. It hurts him to say those things, and possibly Jin would ever be happy to solo his moment with Taeyeon.

Someone's POV

"Will you ever tell her sooner or later?" I ask since I'm with my mother. Apparently, her expression seemed shock from what she heard, "Y-you're.. y-you're not mad?" Her sentence made the person smiles and kissed the older woman on her cheek, "Why would I? She is the missing child you lost 15 years ago. And the fact that she's my sister to my mother's blood connected."

Her lips slowly curved into a smile as she caressed my cheek, "I'm so lucky to have a thoughtful child like you, dear." I smiled back and held her hand tightly, "Don't worry. I'll help you with this situation," She's about to open her mouth when her phone rings signals that someone called.

Mother took out her phone from her pocket and answered the call, "Yeoboseyo?" She ask and furrowed her eyebrows, "Hello there, Taehee." Did mom turn on the speaker mode? "Who's this?" Mother ask curiously. Wait. I somewhat recognize this person's voice. Could this be– "Didn't you recognize me? It's me Taehee! The legal wife of your second husband,"

The evil witch! How dare she!? "Why did you even call you witch–" Mom shushed me to shut up, "What is your problem, Mrs. Cheon Yoo-Ra?" Cheon Yoo-Ra, indeed is the legal wife of my father. But would she blame him? He's the one who cheated first before Father found my mom. And she took the last name from another man.

"Let me rephrase that, it's Mrs. Ch–", "Look, I'm not interested hearing those shitty stuffs of yours. Tell me what is your purpose," I can see that mom's anger developed. "Taehee, Taehee, Taehee. I heard that you found your lost child, if I'm not mistaken?" Taehee raises one brow even if the person can't see her.

"So?" My mom asked confidently, "What 'so'? Didn't you know that I have a lots of things to tell you about it?" The other line, which is the witch, chuckles. "What do you mean?" Mom asked curiously, "Meet me in the nearest cafe of the street in Saturday. Which means.. the day after our kids' competition," She do have a child as well in the same university as ours?

"What if I say no? What will you do with it?" The other line chuckles again, "Then you wouldn't know what will happen in the future. Let's see what you can do," Taehee gulps and tightened her grip on the phone, "F-fine then. I'll.. I-I'll meet up with you,"

"Good girl, Taehee. See you in the day after tomorrow," The call finally ended as mom put down her phone, her expression cannot be read.

Her hands were trembling based from my observation. She then turn to look at me, her face is so pale. She put a hand on my shoulder and tightened the grip, "I had a bad feeling about this," Me, on the other hand furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "W-what do you mean?" Her gaze landed to me as she gulps once again, "Please watch over you sister. I assured you with it. I trust in you, dear." Despite of suspiciousness, I still manage to nod and gulp as well.

"I will, mom. I will," Something's happening bad within this days..

Jin's POV

Both Jin and Kai were exchanging fiery words and electrifying gazes towards each other. Jin had enough and clench his hands into ball of fists. He's ready to punch Kai when someone interrupted from behind. "Enough!" They both slowly look on the direction from where the voice came from. And found Baekhyun wearing poker face, hands were inserted in his front pockets while wearing his winter clothes.

"You're in my property but you already disrespected the area," He coldly announced. Jin confidently raise one brow and turn his body to Baekhyun's direction, "It is still none of your business even though this is your perspective area. How pathetic," He mumbled the last phrase at the end.

"It is not my intension to interrupt but.. I don't like arguments. And will end up getting bruises and wounds on their cheeks," He calmly fired back. Kai seems to be invisible from their sight but later on, Baekhyun noticed. "What is your connection with this stray dog, Jongin?" Stray dog!? What the hell! He just called me a stray dog! For your information, I am not a stray! I have my own shelter! Not just a shelter but with letter s!

However, Kai can't answer the latter's question and had nothing to do but to just bow down his head, "And you," He shift his cold eyes on my direction, "What the hell are you doing in here?" I smirk and crossed my arms, "I told you, it's none of your business," His expression darkens which made me feel joy with some reason, "And why did you interrupted our conversation as well?", "It is none of your business either," My blood boils by the sentence.

"Just.. just go away! We don't need your presence!" I holler, motioning him to go like a dog, "I should be the one saying those things to you, Seok Jin. As I said, the devil is inside the heaven." I can clearly see that the side of his lips form a smirk.

Heaven? He's calling this as heaven? Maybe he's referring it oppositely. I'm the Angel visiting the hell. Okay, whatever. "Let us finish our conversation first before I proceed to the fiery exit," I somewhat found his face darkens.

"You don't need to finish your nonsense conversations. Enough is enough! The topic is all about how to win My Angel's heart," Jin seemed to be normal by hearing those. But he didn't knew if Baekhyun had feelings for Taeyeon as well in return. Kai, on the other hand tried to act normally. But this is only his first time to hear Jin that he recently confessed to the same person he loves. Nonetheless, he thought that he's joking to let his feelings free so that no one could ever bother Taeyeon anymore.

However, he rarely can't believe that Baekhyun knew that he and Jin had feelings for Taeyeon. How did he knew? His thought's now screaming loudly in his mind, "Very well. Good luck gentlemen!" Jin exclaimed and walk pass by Baekhyun.

He stops when they've got the same level of position, "May the best man wins," He whispers before walking away. Leaving the two named Kai and Baekhyun.

A/N: Okay, I've created so much twist for this chapter. Hey there folks! Let's get back to 'Someone's POV', who might that person be? Is it a he or she? Okay. Whatever.

And yes, Taehee is the name of Taeyeon's mother, it's up to you to reread the chapter 4 or something. LOL! It's a long way to go back!

Sorry that I only uploaded this chapter today, because I was out of something for the passed 4 days, maybe? But before 4 days, this chapter is already done. But I'm totally busy by the mean time. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading this as well!
