Chapter 89. May The Best Man Wins

"Jongin! Someone's looking for you outside!" Chen shouted on the top of his lungs, "Who's the person?" Kai asked and raise one brow, who's currently playing some games on his phone, "It's an anonymous person. Go ahead and check it out," Chen simply replied before bickering with Tao and Chanyeol.

Kai sighs and shut his eyes. Now who could this person might be? He thought and turn off his phone before storming off the door. To his surprise, he found a person wearing disguise. He lay his first step onto the platform as he crossed his arms, "Who are you?" The person lifted his head and met Jongin's gaze.

A smirk formed on his lips behind those mask before removing his fully disguise. Kai's eyes rounded in horror, "J-jin.. w-what are you doing here?" He asks in disbelief. I put an index finger on my lips signs to shushed him down, "Let's talk, Jongin." I offered, but I can read that his eyes were telling him to refuse. "W-why do we need to talk?" He stammered.

I sighed and dig my hands inside of my pockets, "Something important matters," He slowly nodded his head, "O-okay, in the garden." He lead the way as I trailed from behind. Upon staring on his back figure, I can't help myself but to grit my teeth and clench my hands into fist. How could he just confessed that easily and leave her alone just like that?

Jin and Kai stop in the midst as they turned face to face, with seriousness defined in their eyes towards each other. However, someone is watching from upstairs. No, he's watching them since Jin arrived because of obviousness light of the car that stopped by right in front of their dorm. Since his curiosity kills, he hurriedly went down for he wanted to know what the two were discussing about.

"What topic should we talk about?" Kai crosses his arms confidently, "Jongin, I want to get straight to the point," I sighed and look to the other direction, "You confessed to her recently. Not long after, if I'm not mistaken?" His eyebrows twitch together, "Who are you referring to?" But good thing for him that he didn't stutter.

"Who else? It's none-other than the Third Angel. The Black Pearl, Kim Taeyeon,"

"H-how.. h-how did y-you know?" He ask in disbelief. I would be lying if I say his eyes weren't round as what owl does. "C'mon Kai, don't be stupid!" I felt like this situation is annoying me. Why am I even here anyways?

"So what if I confessed? Got a problem with that?" He raised one brow arrogantly. He's now in his normal self ladies and gentlemen.

"I do. Because I confessed my feelings towards her as well," Kai felt his nerves froze at the spot. Jin smirks and is now the one who crossed his arms by this time, "Y-you.. l-like her as well?" I love the way he stuttered! "Correction. I love her more than what you think it is," I once heard Kai gasped for the first time.

"B-but why?" Jin's smirk expands, "So what if I confessed? Got a problem with that?" I gave the same question as what he asked me earlier. Learn your lesson, Jongin. Don't act that confident and arrogant, because all of what you said will only turn back onto your way at the end.

"My main purpose here is.. why did you left so sudden after you confessed? Are you a coward? You can't face her anymore because of your undecided shameful acts?" Kai slowly pierced Jin with a death glare. There was a moment of silence between them, that gave Jin a good vibes, "I felt relieved so much to see you this speechless, Jongin." I chuckled with a fist place on my lips.

"What's the reason for you to leave our side? Are you perhaps cheating on us? Let me rephrase that, it affects her as well! She got most of affections from your shits, Jongin!" Jin's voice increased. The nerves in his neck risen as well. It's enough, he can't hold back his anger anymore. Although he treated Kai as his own brother since they were best friends from elementary. This matters because they both love the same person. Now who the hell will she ever choose between them?
