Forgive and Release
Oh How Deep the Heart reaches to the love
and the locks in the depths of the soul
Oh how far back the memories it stores
Through this life and across time distant shores.
And If I venture through Space and time
Through all the emotions and love that I find
I see I need to find a way
To clear out all those ancient pains.
For there is stuff there I need to let go
That causes me to not trust enough to know
How to Love what I find inside
How to overcome all that hurt I hide.
And so I have come to this place
Where I need to forgive that pain I embraced
And forgive all others that hurt me so
For now I am ready to let it all go.
And even more, I find today
That I must fill that empty space that is there
And I must learn to love myself again
And to appreciate the blessings life brings
For I am not a victim of anything.
I am a soul experiencing life in time.
And this life has a timestamp
And the clock’s ticking I find
So it’s time to enjoy
What time I have left without fear.
For the Past is gone
And it’s lead me to here.
and I am ever so grateful
for this life I’ve had
And I know I can be at Peace at last
So God help me to forgive and release.
And I know that God’s Love is the key .
