C H A P T E R F I V E

Unconsciously, your legs moved towards that figure. You heard the nurse holler something, but you could hear Taehyung covering for you.

Your legs still hurt from that unfortunate event, but even so you pushed yourself to break into a small run.

You had lost sight of that figure. Where had he gone? He was just here! You thought.

You looked around hoping to catch any sign of him. Picking up your pace you weaved around the hospital's patients.

Making your way out the door. Suddenly, you spot a figure that was similar to his.

When you rushed towards the door, you could see him walk towards the street. He was waving his hand to catch a taxi.

Feeling adrenaline rush through your veins, you sprint in desperation just to see Jimin again.

But by the time you had finally gotten closer a taxi came. With another rush you accidentally ran out onto the street.

The taxi was already gone by the time you had run out onto the street. You see a big van approaching, you braced yourself for the upcoming impact.

But you only hear it screech to a stop and the driver was beeping his horn at you.

Just then, you felt a hand grab your arm strongly pulling you into the curb.

"What are you thinking?! Running out like that!" It was Jimin's voice, he looks at you with distressed eyes.

You notice the cut on his lips, " "Yah..Me? What about you?! Wha-"

You notice that his fingers were trembling as he gripped onto your arm, "Jimin? What's wrong?" You soften your voice as you ask.

His head falls onto your shoulder, "Dammit... I thought I might lose you again this time."

"I'm not going to go anywhere just yet." You mumble, patting his back comfortingly. 

He looks at you for a moment, then takes your hands and drag you to a quiet area.

Meaning the roof. It took you awhile to process why Jimin had taken you here, but soon you understood that this was your chance to talk things through with him.

"Ah, really reminds me of those times..." Standing near the railings you feel the nostalgia hit you.

Jimin moves over and stands beside you near the railings, "It really does.."

You two stood there in a comfortable silence until, Jimin spoke again.

"Should I confess to you again?" He said making you jump a bit.

You stare at him blankly. You were caught off guard by his statement.

Noticing your expression he presses on.

"I guess I will...At first you agreed to be my girlfriend. You were the best thing that's ever happened to me. It felt as if you'd really leave me every time I said anything bad to you, or do something that made you hate me. But why didn't you leave? You were back by my side again, when I was in my own despair. Why? Why did you come back? I always wondered that. Then. That happened... It just hit me that you were the thing I needed most."

"Without you I'm nothing, everything would be a monotonous black color. I wasn't loving you enough... I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I've done. I'm sorry that you had to waste your on someone like me.. I'm really sorry. But even so I-" He was about to say something more but you couldn't stop your thoughts from voicing itself.

"I-I also am sorry...I fail as a girlfriend. I didn't even notice that you were having a hard time, and yet I.. I only caused even more trouble for you. There were times I even doubted my love for you. And your love for me. I even at one point hated you, and even hated myself for loving you. I just didn't know what to do anymore. But now I see how much I was wrong. I'm here now because of you.. I realize how lucky I am to be by your side." You said beginning to feel those tears again.

"And stop using 'someone like me' I told you didn't I? It doesn't suit you!" You said putting up a strong front. 

"I'm the one who's really lucky to have someone like you." Jimin said as he pulls you in for a hug. "I said it before I'll say it again. I love you, y/n."

You blushed, feeling one tear fall. It made you happy to hear those three words again. You look up at him with your tear brimmed face and smile shyly. 

At that moment he faces you, only inches away from your face and whispers, "I'll treasure you right this time."

Staring into his eyes, you could see how much he had missed you. You close your eyes hoping for something beyond your imagination, but instead he just pulls you into a hug.

"You thought I was going to give you a kiss didn't you?" He whispers sending chills down your neck.

You push him away and turn for the door, but smile knowing that Jimin genuinely smiled after all that drama.

Surprising you, Jimin gives you a back hug whispers into your ear, sending immediate goosebumps, "I'll make you mine again."

Immediate heat rushed from your cheeks all the way to your ears. You hadn't expected Jimin to say this out of the blue.

"Geezmin. What the heck?!" You said breaking out of his grasp and begin to walk away.

You could hear his playful laugh, which made you feel happy inside.

"Ah. y/n come here." He began running after you and finally caught up to you. Then, he gave you another embrace. This time it really felt as if he wouldn't let go.

"Idiot. I-I love you too." You stuttered a bit at the end.

He flashes you his famous eye smile. Immediately, you felt butterflies in your stomach again.

Forgetting all your pains from the past. It was if it didn't even happen at all. 

I guess I really did fall for you again, Park Jimin.
