Chapter 88. Jealousy

"I see," He nodded that made me feel annoyed somehow, "What do you mean 'I see'? Can't you just be worried as well? Which will you ever choose to the three of us, Kyungsoo? Which?" I felt the roots of my neck increased since I'm letting my frustration and anger out. I'm done of this. I can't bare this sufferance any longer.

Kyungsoo look up at me, and his smiling face turned serious all of the sudden, "I won't choose to any of you, Baekhyun. You should ask that question to my cousin instead. It will be her decision if who will she give her mightiest 'yes' to the three of you," I felt lifeless and got back from my senses when I heard those sentence.

"Yes indeed. That is my cousin's decision," He stands up as he level our eyes together, "However, I felt glad just by seeing that you're acting jealous," I look at him in the eyes as he put a hand on my shoulder and say, "But don't lose your hope. Somehow, the victory will come in the end. Just trust my cousin that much. Because you didn't know if who will she ever choose between the three of you," He remove his hand away from my shoulder before turning his back, leaving me clueless and dumbfounded.

Cafeteria, Taeyeon's POV

I continuously sip my ice tea until it's last drop. Jessica and I were staring at each other's eyes like we will find some answers in our own eyes. We arrived in this place 10 minutes recently. But still, none of us tried to utter a word. So to wash the awkwardness, I straighten my posture and clear my throat. However, Jessica didn't move on her position. It's like she's just expecting and watching every of my moves.

I opened my mouth and got ready to ask something, but Jessica beat me to it, "I want you to be honest and answer me directly," I gulp down a lump on my throat when her eyes are burning with seriousness, "Tell me about your problem," She put her hands on my shoulders. But every time I felt her touch, I forgot what will I say. I look away but she only shook me by the shoulders. "Look at me!" I slowly shift my gaze in front and witnessed her perfectly lined eyebrows turned into a zigzag one.

"I-I.. I don't have any problems at all," I lied and immediately look down. I heard she sighs, "Taeyeon-ah, I told you to tell me honestly. Please..", "I know you ever since. And I can easily read your reactions since you're an open book. I know there's something bothering you. Just please.. feel free to share it with me.. I can help you through your ups and downs, remember?" As much as I wanted to keep this secret within me without her noticing it. But Jessica's right, she knew me for how many years. Ugh! I hate myself for letting my affections show that easily!

"I-I.. uh.. J-jin.. just.. uh.." I'm nowhere to tell my secrets towards her. But something's persuading me to stop it from telling what's the truth. Just something made my tongue stopped in the midst, "Jin what?" She asks curiously, forcing me to look at her in the eyes. I let out a heavy sigh and take a break for 3 seconds, "Jinrecentlyconfessedtomelasttwoweeks," But despite from those rapping sentence, Jessica's expression turned shock, confuse and whatnot.

Whatever it is, I can hide it but there's no way I can keep it for long. "J-jin what? A-are you serious?" I bite my lip and nodded, "There's more," Taeyeon added, "Kai also confessed for the past 2 weeks and 3 days," I once heard her gasped.

"S-so.. this is a hard and a tough right decision for you," She concluded and as I look at her, I found her looking down at her untouchable foods, "But what about Baekhyun?" She looks at me as an exchange, "That's the problem. I don't want Kai and Jin getting hurt at the end since I will always end up loving Baekhyun at the end," Taeyeon bow down her head.

"Jessica, what am I going to do?" I worried, snatching her hands and held to it tightly. She bites her lower lip and double for tightening the grip, "What ever happens, I know you'll always choose Baekhyun at the end. Let them be. They just need to learn their first but a biggest lesson in their life,"

Someone's POV

I secretly stare at her from afar, avoiding her gaze every time she'll look onto my direction. I peacefully eat my meal and stare at her features. Is she really my blood connected?

She looks different from what I am. Her smile, her laugh, her voice, and lastly, her attitude. It's rarely different towards my own way. B-but.. I cannot lie, she truly is..

The lost child from the womb of my mother. And since that I knew, I regret everything from what I've done. Especially, hurting her when the man she loves is with me. But I finally made my decision since before, I should stop loving him..

For the sake of my sister..
