Chapter 88. Jealousy

"Uh.. you girls need to claim this up and judge if you're infavor with the style. We can still change it though since we still have 3 weeks more. Taeyeon and I are going somewhere to discuss about the upcoming performances such as our entrance, background music and whatnot," Jessica announced and tug her arm with mine, "I wanna go–" Yuri is interrupted by Jessica when she turn her back.

"And another thing, we don't want any distractions," She added and drags Taeyeon outside, leaving Yuri frowning. "Let's talk by the cafeteria," Jessica muttered with a serious expression, dragging me along with her. I sighed in defeat and just let her be.

Black Pearl Practice Room, Baekhyun's POV

"Take it from the top everyone!" Kai announced. Believe me, every time I hear his voice I felt like annoyed and irritated at a time. What am I going to do with myself? I felt like the most coward of the coward. Two rivals were getting and blocking on my way over one precious diamond. It's just like, I want to snatch her. But thanks to Kyungsoo for giving me the tip.

He'll help me with this plan. Kyungsoo and I are getting along with each other. But somehow he missed his cousin leaving her alone with the girls. Whatever his decision is but it only matters to one answer; To keep this performance successful and memorable for both Taeyeon and I.

"Kyungsoo? Can I talk with you privately?" I ask as Kyungsoo turn his head on my direction. He's probably discussing something with Suho right now. "Excuse me for a moment," Suho nods and Kyungsoo face me afterwards, "What may we discuss about?" He raise his brows. "Come. In the classroom," He nodded and followed me from behind.

I should probably ask him if he knows everything just a single detail. As soon as we arrive in the classroom, I slumped myself on the chair as he, on the other hand sat right in front of me. "Kyungsoo-ah, haven't you know that–", "Jongin's been planning to confess his true feelings towards my cousin, yes." Baekhyun felt his nerves stopped for a moment. He can't move an inch from his place. It's like, he sat on a chair with glue.

"It's pretty obvious that he likes.. no, loves my cousin. And it will kept as a secret within myself if how did I knew," He added, "Since when Kyungsoo? Since when?" I ask in a puzzled situation. I can clearly see Kyungsoo's lips forming into a smirk, "Since the day we left Seoul for Tokyo," Since then, my heart aches for some reason.

"He didn't spill a word of his feelings towards Taeyeon. But due to my observation and sensitiveness, I can witness a person's reaction and expression just by a single stare," Kyungsoo stares at me in the eyes.

"And I can see the alphabet of jealousy in your eyes Baekhyun. Your eyes are burning with imaginary fire," I don't know why but I felt my blood boil for a moment, "It's natural for a person to feel and act this way. Love.. really is so selfish and complicated," He continued, pointing the table using his index finger.

"I can sense why did you took me here? I know except for Kai's confession is not the real reason of why are we here," I clench my hands into fists when flashbacks starts haunting my mind. "Is there anything that I should–", "Jin recently confessed last two weeks as well!" Baekhyun can't hold onto his temper and stands up from his seat. His fists turned solid balls while his knees are trembling and shaking like a jelly.

Despite that Kyungsoo felt shock from the sudden news, he still raised his one brow. However, he failed since his eyebrows were twitching, "So? Don't tell me that you're giving up already Baekhyun. It was then two men just confessed and expressing their feelings over one girl," He stated as a matter of fact.

"But this case involves Kai and Jin, Kyungsoo! Two men are getting on my way! I'm afraid that I'll ended up useless from my efforts and whatnot!" That made Kyungsoo's lips slowly crept a smile when he saw Baekhyun's reaction.
