I've always found lazy days stressful. Ever since I was little I have always needed something to occupy my mind and simply doing nothing or as some people call it "relaxing" drove me insane. I was always that annoying child in class that was constantly tapping their pen or humming under their breath and that have always stayed the same. That was until I met Jackson.

The days spent with Jackson have been filled to the brim with various things over the years from planning a wedding to running around after toddlers with a nappy. And now whenever the chance to take a lazy day came along I took it by the horns. I now find myself longing daily for lazy days and on occasions it makes me laugh how a small thing like that has changed my life so drastically.

"Ah thank you." I gladly took the hot mug off of Jackson as he sat next to me. I took a small sip of the soothing drink before sinking back into Jackson's chest as his arm slipped over my shoulder.

"Kids are asleep and we finally have the TV remote." Jackson chuckled and I laughed snuggling further into his chest.

"I am so tired." I yawned into his hard chest.

"Welcome to the life of parent hood." I laughed at his words as his lips grazed across the top of my head.

"It feels like we have been non-stop on the go." I sighed placing my hand on his his chest and he let loose a deep breath as he intertwined our fingers together.

"I know," He agreed as he shifted slightly so he could reach his drink. "We haven't had a lazy day since before Izzy."  (a/n or whatever you want your daughters name to be)

"It is so strange to think that Izzy is almost one." I sighed, the fact that our youngest child is growing so fast causing my head to spin.

"And that Tom is four." I groaned at his words before buying my face into his chest further. "Soon enough he will be breaking hearts."

"Not if I can't help it." I yawned and he laughed his free hand stroking up and down my arm. "My son will be the perfect gentleman."

"Our son." He reminded and I rolled my eyes.

"He's my son if he's a gentleman, he's yours if he breaks hearts." I replied as he soothingly squeezed my arm.

"You know as the kids are in bed we could do something a little crazy." I turned to face Jackson, narrowing my eyes at the gorgeously framed man.

"What do you have in mind?" I questioned.

Flash forward a simple twenty minutes our snores echoed throughout the room as our limbs laid entangled with the sheets. So maybe I didn't have the lazy day I needed but I guess my lazy twenty minutes to account for it.
