Going back to Camp Half-Blood was awesome, though it took some rocky turns when the new kid showed up.

Annabeth and I were heading back to Camp Half-Blood during summer break after our first year at college in New Rome. As usual we ran into monsters, but what's to expect with a son of Poseidon and a daughter of Athena along with a bunch of other Half-Bloods in a van going cross-country from California to New York. Once we got back to camp we all headed to our cabins to unpack then we headed to the dining pavilion to get reacquainted, eat, and hear a very short sarcastic speech from Mr. D about how much he dislikes all of us. Grover was pretty happy to see me because whenever he talked he bleated. Tyson was there also so I had the familiar sensation of being hit by a flannel covered tractor.

But here's where the weirdness starts, after I said hi to our Oracle Rachel she said, "Percy, I have seen that powerful forces are coming, be on guard."

"Ok I will." I said to her somewhat confused. After that short but very strange conversation I went back to my cabin with Tyson and after I got used to Tyson's snoring again I was able to fall asleep but since I'm a demigod I had dreams, not normal dreams but visions.

I was in a place I had been a couple times, the palace of Hades, but there was a strange difference, there were two smaller thrones, identical to Hades' and Persephone's, but then I noticed something else, I was in someone else's body, I could tell that it was very powerful, like god powerful, I was walking towards Hades throne, Persephone wasn't there because it was summer but there was another lady standing next to Hades, a woman I had seen before, Hecate, goddess of magic, what she was doing there I had no idea.

I was barely done taking in the weirdness of Hecate with Hades when Hades spoke up, "My son, you and your cousins have done well tracking down hidden monsters and titans so I have decided that you should have some time to relax."

"Ooh, I have some great ideas for where I can go, like New Orleans, Death Valley, ooh maybe even Greece, or or-" I say when I was interrupted by Hades.

"Wait, I have already chosen a place for you to go."

"Wait, what?"

"Yes, I have chosen for you to go to Camp Half-Blood, you have heard of it right?"

"Yes I have, but father why do I need to go there?"

"Because you will have family there, your step brother and sister will be there, Nico and Hazel."

"Also your other step brothers and sisters from my side of the family will be there, like Lou Ellen." Hecate said glaring at Hades.

"Right," Hades said trying to scoot away from Hecate, if you can even do that while in a throne, "and a couple of your close cousins like Percy and Tyson sons of Poseidon, and Thalia and Jason children of Zeus.

"Please tell me they aren't like Wavous and Vintus." I say.

"I don't know why you keep complaining about Wavous and Vintus." Hades said.

"Oh honey you know that Wavous and Vintus always bully him, no they aren't like them son." Hecate said strangely soothingly to me.

"Fine I will go, but just promise me Nyad isn't coming." I said.

Hades and Hecate looked at each other like they were sharing a secret and then Hades replied, "Speaking of that, she won't be coming with you when you first go but you might see her later, because we have a surprise for you."

"What is it?" I ask.

"Well if we told you then it wouldn't be a surprise then. Would it silly?" said Hecate playfully.

"Mom stop, your embarrassing me." I say.

"Ok, have a good journey, best of luck son." Hades says.

"Oh" Hecate says, "and son, don't forget that I will-"
