Myosotis was at least doing something helpful by mixing preparing the oven. Angelina sat next to Camellia, reading one of the novels Levi provided. No sooner after the TV was on, it was switched off. Levi poked his head out from the kitchen. "Is anything wrong?" He asked, seeing Camellia getting up from the couch.

"My show... had been cancelled because of an American football game." She muttered. She headed out to the backyard while Gérard threw himself back onto the couch. Levi saw the youth stopping midair and soon after hovering over the couch, sound asleep. He returned to the kitchen.

"Magnolia!" He roared, seeing that the Luna was once again up to no good. Magnolia whipped her hands behind her back, hiding her flour dusted hands. Levi hurried over to see how much of the cookie dough had been eaten.

Fortunately, there was still enough (but) for bite size cookies. Levi looked out of the window. Camellia was now hanging from a branch of the Tree House, looking like a dead corpse. "I'm heading out to backyard." Myosotis announced, washing his hands.

As he walked out of the kitchen, Angelina hastily grabbed Gérard's shoulder and pulled him down onto the couch. For the known fact that Myosotis still does not know that Gérard is a vampire, yet. Angelina watched her classmate leave the living room through the back door before she let Gérard levitate beside her.

By late noon, at about three, almost everyone was resting in the living room. Hence, Angelina was asleep, and so Myosotis saw the floating Gérard when he returned from the backyard.

"How is Gérard floating?" He asked. Magnolia popped in. She started to nervously sweat. "It's an invisible hammock Hunter bought on Tuesday." She lied. He didn't buy her lie. Myosotis went over to check. "There's nothing." More sweat drops. "Strings." She stalled further.

"There's nothing." Myosotis repeated, just as Gérard yawned as he stretched. "That was a good rest..." he puckered his lips. "What's for supper?" He questioned. Myosotis stared at the oblivious vampire. Myosotis threw him the most annoyed look he could give.

"It's past three in the noon. It's supposed to be afternoon tea." Myosotis yanked at Gérard's arm, forcing him to fall down onto the carpet floor.

"Shit!" He yelped. "Magnolia. Please explain this." Myosotis demanded. "Gérard... he's a..." she slurred. Camellia walked in from her afternoon hanging. "He's a vampire prince." BAM! Right into Myosotis' face. Magnolia face-palmed.

Typical Camellia. "Tea break's ready." Levi called. Gérard gently shook Angelina awake. "Angelina," Myosotis called out to her. "Yes?" She answered, stretching. "May I have a detailed explanation of why I didn't know that Gérard is a vampire prince, for more than half a year?" He asked.

"We'll talk over tea." She smiled, interlocking her fingers with Gérard's. The first five minutes of tea were about offering the different types of teas, the next five were in silence drinking. After that, Levi broke the silence by clearing his throat.

"I'm sure you're curious of Gérard, being a vampire." He made eye contact with Myosotis. The youth gulped. "Yes." His voice was shaking. Levi sipped his tea. "It's quite remarkable to have royal vampires, like himself, to be in urbanised cities. Same for us wolf-shifters." He set down his cup.

"To be able to blend in with pure blooded humans. Untouched by the supernatural blood." Myosotis nodded, still trying to process the new information. "If you think that vampires and werewolves are enemies (like Twilight) you're wrong." Gérard added.

"We have to coexist for survival." Levi explained while Gérard poured another cup of the rose tea for himself. Magnolia took a sniff and smelled lily of the valley. She turned to Angelina's pinkie. Her red string was faint in appearance, as if hidden by a veil.

"I'm sure Gérard would like to talk all about his experience back at home." Angelina was smiling, resting her head on her interlocked hands. Everyone saw her mismatched eyes. They were all calm, except for Myosotis. "I'm Cornelia; Gérard's older sister." She smiled, reaching out her hand to Myosotis.

"Nice to meet you?" He felt awkward. As soon as their hands parted, Magnolia took another whiff. "Sandalwood." Magnolia suddenly said, still looking at her pinkie. The red string became more visible to her. Angelina blinked a few times. The red mismatched eye reverted to forest green.

"Did you say something?" She asked. "Nothing." Myosotis averted his eyes. "Cornelia possessed you for a while." Gérard whispered. "Is that so?" Angelina asked. He nodded.

They chatted until it was nearly four before they kept the table and the tea set as daylight was being lost. After which, Angelina, Camellia and Gérard were the first to leave. "We'll be off first." Angelina smiled to Magnolia. Camellia ruffled Magnolia's hair as Gérard fist bumped Myosotis.

Magnolia watched her three best friends cross over to their lawn as Myosotis wrapped an arm around her waist. "You should head home too." Magnolia added. "You're chasing me out now?" He jokingly asked. "Nah, I'm just afraid that your parents may be worried for you." She smiled.

Myosotis kissed her forehead and led her to his convertible. "You won't miss me too much, will you?" He asked as they crossed their lawn to his convertible. She squeezed herself out of his grasp and speed walked to his car.

She leaned against the hood. "I won't. You're always a call away, anyways." Magnolia 'assured'. "Well that's assuring..." he chuckled. The Luna giggled. "So, I'll come over to pick you up on Monday?" Myosotis asked, leaning against the hood.

"Yep. I've always liked fresh air. Camey's truck is too stuffy." Magnolia agreed, hauling herself up to sit on the hood. "How's your dad, by the way?" He asked again. "Is Uncle Jëager nice?"

"Well... I'd say he's the best! No one can replace Papa! He's always there for me!" Magnolia grinned from ear to ear. Myosotis chuckled. She noticed how his shoulders shook as he did. She glanced to their pinkies. Their red string was free of knots. "It must've been nice to have parents." He sounded depressed, looking at his sneakers now.

"But it was heartbreaking to have Mama gone." She added. "I heard that you're living with your uncle now." Myosotis smiled a little, rubbing the side of his neck. "Oh, my uncle huh... yes." Magnolia placed a hand over his hand that was closer to her. Myosotis took a glance at it before making eye contact with her.

"Would your uncle be upset?" Magnolia asked. He shrugged. "As long as my studies aren't affected." Myosotis whispered. Magnolia blushed, resting her head on his collar bone. Myosotis pulled her in closer. "Same goes for you. Education is the one of the basics in life." He snuggled.

"I'm glad that we knew each other since childhood." Magnolia whispered, nuzzling Myosotis. "Yeah, and you were always the first choice of girl in my mind." He slowly brought his lips upon hers.

It was rather brief, for a first kiss. But Magnolia didn't mind it. When they parted, they stared into each other's eyes. "Do you want to come over to my house, next week?" Myosotis asked. "Why not tomorrow?" Magnolia asked.

"I have church. And next week is Amelia's birthday! She really wants to meet you." Myosotis explained. "Amelia?" She tilted her head with curiosity. "My cousin. Well, one of the few girls of my family." He explained. Magnolia caught on quick.

"So they like you? Is that one of the reasons why you're so charismatic?" She asked teasingly. "Yeah, I had been surrounded by girls since young." He blushed. Magnolia pecked him on his lips. "See you next week then." She slid off the hood.

Myosotis pushed himself off. They kept glancing at each other, almost hindering their plans until Levi shouted. "Magnolia! Hurry up!" He called. "I don't want you catching a cold! You too Myosotis!" Magnolia giggled, hurrying off to her house.

"Kayy!" She blew a kiss to Myosotis. He pretended to catch it and placed it to his chest. Once Magnolia had disappeared into her house, Myosotis got into his car and started the engine. Magnolia watched him driving away from her living room window.

For the rest of the evening, Myosotis never left her thoughts. She smiled at the very thought as she pictured him next to herself.
