Chapter 11: THE voice
Embry's Pov
We heard Cassie howl and told Bella to stay with Emily as all of us phased. What is it Cassie? I thought but got nothing. We couldn't even hear Cassie's thoughts. Sam told us to spread out and Jacob went with me while Paul and Jared went the other way and Sam went by himself. I caught sent of a leech and Jacob and I started running. I slid to a stop as I saw Cassie laying in front of me looking beat. Go after the leech. I thought to Jacob and he gave a quick nod running off. I quickly thought to the others that I had Cassie so they could help Jacob while I took her back to Emily's. I phased back and quickly put shorts on and put a shirt and shorts on Cassie. I picked her up and her eyes fluttered open. "What happened" she asked looking up. "I don't know Cassie. Does anything hurt?" I asked looking her over seeing if I could see any cuts or anything. "My back feels a little sore" she said and I nodded. Once we got back to Emily's I set Cassie down on the couch.
???'s Pov
I watched as the mutt touched MY Cassie. I don't care if Cassie is a shape shifter she's still mine. She's my la tua cantante, so obviously I don't want anyone touching her. If no vampire can bite you I'll do it myself. I sent her a mind message and smirked. I couldn't do this with anyone just her. Even from thousands of miles away I know what she's doing and I don't mind at all. Her blood smells so intoxicating. Even though she's a mutt she doesn't smell like one. I heard a growl and looked down. There was a mutt looking at me. I smirked at it and flashed to a different tree. Yes, the mutt would find me again but I was not going to stop watching my Cassie. When the time comes she better choose me. I'll have to interfere if she doesn't. Hope your back gets better la tua cantante I'll watch you another day. I smirked as she looked around and finally her eyes met mine. I flashed a smile and disappeared.
Cassie's Pov
Hope your back gets better la tua cantante I'll watch you another day. I heard in my head and I looked around everywhere. Finally my mind took over and my head looked up and outside. A leech with red eyes was staring at me. Who the hell was that? How does he even know where I am. I know lots of things la tua cantante and that is very hurtful I prefer vampire. I rolled my eyes to myself as I laid back on the couch thinking. Who the hell could that be? "Ugh stupid leeches always get away" Paul grumbled as all the guys came back inside. "Who was that one in the tree?" I asked looking toward the guys. "I don't know never seen him before" Paul said and I groaned. "Well he's always in my head" I groaned rubbing my face. "What do you mean 'in your head' " Paul said looking over at me. "In my head, like he's always talking to me in my head. He heard my thoughts and knows what I'm doing and he calls me la tua cantante, it's creepy" I said shivering at the thought. "Wait la tua cantante?" Sam asked looked over at me and I nodded slowly looking at him. "What does that even mean?" I asked. "It means blood singer, why would a leech be calling Cassie his blood singer" Embry asked Sam angrily. "I don't know but we will find out" Sam said leaving me very confused. "What the hell is a blood singer?" I asked. "It's basically like an imprint but for a vampire. They find them a different way then we do though" Sam explained and I nodded. So I have a possibility of my imprint being a leech. Why a leech out of all the people in the world. Hopefully I never find that leech. Call me leech one more time and you'll regret it. Okay... I smirked to myself LEECH LEECH LEECH LEECH LEECH. I waited and nothing happened. You're full of it leech. I though rolling my eyes to myself. "Bella I'll take you home." Jacob said getting up and I looked at him and glared. I don't even know how he likes her she's such a bitch. I guess love blinds you, but I wouldn't know since I've never loved anyone. I've been looking forward to imprinting but now that Sam was saying that leech was calling me its blood singer I don't ever want to meet my imprint. I sighed as everyone parted ways and it was just Emily Sam and I alone in the house. And me. Shut up I don't even know who you are, plus I wouldn't like you anyway leech. Would you stop calling me that. Oooh someone sounds angry. (Basically the rest of the chapter will be them talking so bold is the voice and regular is Cassie) Maybe I am. You are quite the werewolf aren't you? You have no idea. So about your eyes. Why is one blue and the other green. I don't know, do you? Yes, but I won't tell you. All I can say is you better pick me when the time comes. What does that even mean? Soon they will tell you. For now I can just talk to you La tua cantante. I let out a sigh as I laid down. You know sometimes you get very annoying. Thank you. I try my best. This was going to be a long night of talking.
