Chapter 84. The Beginning Of Practice

Meanwhile, me, I'm still preoccupied if what am I going to compose since I have no idea! Nor inspiratio– Wait.. speaking of inspiration? Taeyeon bites her lower lip and slowly close her eyes with a hand placed on her chest part. The beatings of her heart became abnormal as what it is. She unexpectedly open her eyes after those and grab the sheets and pen by nowhere.

I've had enough, I just can't stand behind your back keeping this feelings for you just be hidden and buried forever. You're my inspiration and these songs, which I'm going to compose is especially dedicated for you. I am confessing and expressing my feelings through the song and it's lyrics. Just for you.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun's POV

We were busy practicing for our first song that we, composed just by our own selves. It was written by Chanyeol, but we need to finish more six songs before we start for the recording. There were no lines for us right now since we need those two named Kai and Kyungsoo. The notes and whatnot were really great. I salute Chanyeol.

"Have a break for a moment, everyone." And it is only Lay and Sehun who made for the dance steps. Pretty impressive, it matches with the song. And right, both Taeyeon and I had special stage. Meanwhile, I need to compose for our duet as well. I can't wait to see her for almost one month passed. I can't help myself but to let her be by this time. She needs space especially that she's promoting for her own song.

I was snapped from my thoughts when the door suddenly creaked open reveals, "Kai! Kyungsoo!" The members called out their names in disbelief before they run towards their direction and greeted them with a hug. "Where have you guys been?", "Where were you for the passed 1 month and so!?", "Did you know that we're worried sick?", "Where is the Black Pearl?", "Where did you stay?", "Is she okay?" The members asked randomly.

The two just smiled at them before landing their eyes on my direction. I nod once as they enter the Black Pearl practice room. "We're here as what you said," Kyungsoo muttered first before showing some sheets in front of me, "Both of us collaborated last night to create this songs. We didn't slept because we wanted this plan to be successful. But make sure you won't ruin anything, Baekhyun." Kai explains that made me look up at them to find that their eyes were kinda tired and sleepy.

I nodded with full of sincerity, "I promise that I won't.. I-I.. I thank you for your cooperation and efforts. And I will never ever waste those." I said, locking my eyes with them. "Becareful, this contains with high notes. We've created eight songs, and the extra one is for the duet," Kyungsoo said, handling me the sheets which contained of notes and lyrics. "May I ask.. which one of them will you ever be partner as your duet?" I look up at Kyungsoo after I read some of the lyrics and flashed a small close-mouthed smile towards him, "You," With that, his eyes enlarge from it's sleepiness. "W-what? M-m-me!? B-but I don't even know how to sing," He complained which made Baekhyun smirked while checking out the other lyrics. "Don't fool me, Kyungsoo. I once heard you singing when you're alone by the classroom. Unfortunately, I'm eavesdropping that time," Kyungsoo's ears immediately turn red.

"But it's not that–", "Trust me, your voice is so calm and beautiful," I cut him off before I stood up from sitting on the shiny floor. I stopped when I'm in front of Kai, "Jongin, I trust in you to help the others make a dance steps." He smirks, "That ain't no problem," I simply nodded as the others start attacking them some random questions.

"Focus by the dance right now everyone. I just need to confirm our schedule for recordings," I announced and strode off the door. And after that, I'll compose my own song and duet with full of love.

Two Days Passed, Taeyeon's POV

I'm here alone by the garden. I need a quiet place to compose my last song. The first song is entitled 'Beautiful'. I am expressing my own self that I am beautiful with confidence. I'll show to the world that the New Kim Taeyeon will soon to reveal, just.. soon. The last song is about myself as well, I was a slave before and I agreed to any decisions. But now, it turns like an upsidedown. I became a queen and they were my slaves. I'll show them that I'm strong and soon enough, I bloom like a butterfly until I can finally be free. But those two songs needs rappers as well. I need to ask Jin for a favor about this.

I finished the last verse of the last song and I'm finally done! All I need to do is for recording. I'm about to go when a familiar voice occupied the quiet place, "You were struggling so much, do you need help?" I look back and found Jin. I stood up and smiled at him, "Jin! You were just in a perfect timing!" He smiles as well but with a raised brow, "I see? What is it?" He asks and took a seat right beside me.

I move for a little bit and cleared my throat, "Uh.. you see. Both of my songs which I personally composed, needs two rappers," I mentally slapped myself when Jin observed the sheets of lyrics with his eyebrows narrowed, "Say holla to your fans?" He asked, chuckling for a bit to the song named Beautiful. He read another one which is the last one, "You were born to fly?" I bite my lower lip in embarrassment. I know it sounds cheesy and lame!

"Every high notes are perfectly good," He suddenly muttered which made me look at him to find him staring at me. "H-huh?"

"You're so talented, Taeyeon. I guess you have inspiration huh?" That made me blush and look down, "Too bad I'm not good in rapping," I look at him once more and furrow my eyebrows together, "What do you mean?" He simply smiles and messed up my hair.

"I'll ask a favor to both Yoon-Gi and Ho-Seok," He said before standing up from where he seated, "Because I know that I don't have a chance on you anymore," He turn his back and left me speechless and dumbfounded. What does he mean of what he said? He's getting weirder when the time he told me that he knew the person behind those speakers, which is me. What is wrong with him?

Did he got sick? Is he sick? Or.. there's another reason behind those solemn eyes of his?
