Alex's Pov:
I wiped a stray tear from my eyes as I hugged my mother goodbye.
"Call me! Promise?" Mom asked. I nodded once and hugged her once more.
"I promise mom. I love you!" I hugged her once more as I climbed onto the plane and slid into my seat beside my older sister Bella Swan.
"Excited, Al?" She asked.
"Not really... I'm gonna miss Mom, a lot." I hummed sadly.
"I will too. But hey, you're still got a few years to move again." Bella smiled.
"This move is already killing me." I sighed sadly, I was leaving all my friends in Phoenix, Arizona to move to the small town of Forks, Washington.
"Well, you'll get through it." Bella smiled before sticking in ear buds and falling asleep. I however could not sleep. I let out a sigh and messed with my blue jeans as I worried about what I would find in Forks.
I climbed off the plane and saw my dad, Chief Charlie Swan.
"Hey dad." I smiled through clenched teeth. I never liked my dad much, nothing really against him, it's all me but you know. Our personalities clash.
We made our way to baggage claim and then to Charlie's police cruiser. I settled down in the back and laid my head against the window while listening to Charlie and Bella talk about Bella's new car. Charlie didn't get me a car, but I'm only 15, so that's probably why. I do have my permit and am waiting for my birthday to roll around so I can go get my licenses.
Once home Charlie showed us up to our rooms. I noticed my hammock and immediately laid down on it letting out a long sigh, swinging myself back and forth, back and forth...
I snapped awake as my alarm starting blaring. I fell off my hammock and groaned loudly. Bella opened my door and saw me on the floor. She covered her mouth and started laughing. I growled and stood dusting myself off. I shooed her out of my room and changed to a pair of black jeans and a black button up shirt.
It's my first day of school here if Forks. Let's hope I don't screw myself!
