That pout refused to leave Kyungsoo's lips.

He was feeling seriously betrayed and neglected by Jongin, who was so wrapped up in that darn cat that he let it sit on his lap as they ate. Okay, he thought, so maybe he wasn't as much fun to be around since he was now a full human, but that was hardly an excuse for Jongin to show that thing so much attention. Besides, if Jongin loved him as a puppy so much, he shouldn't have confessed his feelings and broken his curse in the first place. But no, Kyungsoo panicked inside, if Jongin hadn't broken his curse, he would still be a dog and vulnerable to the bad man and his truck of cages and that would be worse than being near any cat.

But still, Jongin shouldn't have been so nice to the cat. Cats were evil after all. And how could he be so nice to something that was so evil? Kyungsoo didn't know, but he sure didn't like it.

The very upset boy poked at the rice in his bowl, his stomach no longer growling with hunger. Chanyeol looked up at him as he was chewing and waited until he swallowed to say something to him.

"Kyungsoo, aren't you hungry?" he asked. "I thought rice was your favorite."

The younger only sighed and deepened his pout. "It is my favorite, Chanyeol hyung," he said somberly, "but I am not hungry anymore. I am sorry if I made you upset."

"No, you didn't make me upset," replied Chanyeol, swallowing the rest of his food. "I was just wondering why you weren't eating, that's all."

"Okay, Chanyeol hyung." Weakly, Kyungsoo gave him a smile. "Thank you." Chanyeol nodded, but it was easy to see that he was upset by something. He heard a chuckle come from across the table and looked up to see that it came from his cousin, telling him everything he needed to know.

"Yah, Jongin," Chanyeol said to him, catching his attention right as his smile was fading, "don't you know it's rude to have an animal on your lap while you eat? Did auntie teach you nothing of etiquette?"

"But he's so cute," Jongin cooed in response, holding up the kitten. "He's so tiny and fluffy and tiny." Both Kyungsoo and Chanyeol both rolled their eyes and Jongin laughed again. "He just licked my finger," he said, making brief eye contact with them before turning back to the cat.

"How do you know it's a he?" Chanyeol asked.

"It's not hard to tell," Jongin answered with a small laugh, glancing at Chanyeol as he rubbed behind each of its ears, smiling when it purred happily.

Kyungsoo huffed and turned away in annoyance. He was getting fed up with seeing his boyfriend acting so affectionate with something that wasn't him; he didn't like it anymore and the longer he sat there, the more he felt the urge to cry. So, all of a sudden, he pushed his chair back and stood on his feet.

"What are you doing?" Chanyeol asked, swallowing down some water.

"I am going home," Kyungsoo announced, his words instantly catching Jongin's attention. "I do not want to be here any longer, so I am going home."

"You can't go home," Jongin said to him, spinning around in his chair a bit but leaving the cat sitting on his lap. "You don't know how to get home from here."

"Yes, I do," Kyungsoo said, giving Jongin a small glare. "I am not stupid, Jongin. I pay attention sometimes." Jongin turned to Chanyeol and gave him a funny look, thinking he might know what the cause of this abrupt proclamation was, but the elder only shrugged his shoulders and took another drink of water.

"Alright," Jongin said with an uneasy sigh. "We can go if you want. Just let me bring these dishes to the sink, okay?"

"No," Kyungsoo said rather sternly. "I can go by myself, Jongin. I told you before that I do not need your help anymore. You stay here with Chanyeol hyung and the cat. If you need me, I will be at home watching Pororo."
