Chapter 17: My pain

Lucy's POV
**At the Guild**

I feel warmth. I open my eyes and see that I'm covered in Mystagon's cloak. I look around and see I'm in Mysty's house. In his room. I get up and see that I'm in one of his shirts. I walk over to the door and walk out. I hear Mystagon cooking in the kitchen. "Lu?? Is that you??" Yes..Mysty what are you cooking?? I walk into the kitchen. "Rice balls" he says. Sounds good Mysty. I sit down at the table. How long have I been sleeping?? "Couple of hours Lu.." Where's Macbeth.. Have you talked to him?? "Lu.. I went to your house to get some clothes for you and I found a note. I grab the note and open it. Out falls my extra key.

Dear lucy,

I know that you love Mystagon. He is your mate. I have to go find my friend. If you want I will stay out of your life. I'm truly sorry that I kept you from your mate this long. All I wanted to do is to be with you. This will be the last time I will be a burden for you. I love you Lucy Heartfilia. Have a nice time with Mystagon. Good bye for now.

I run out of Mystagon's and run towards my apartment. I get there and look around. I see that Macbeth did leave. I start to cry. I feel someone wrap their arms around of me. I look up and see that its Mystagon. Why.. Why.. I ask. "Why what Lu??" He whispers into my ear. Why.. Would he leave with saying Good bye.. I choke out. "Remember he was mad Lu.." I snuggle into his chest still crying. But..but I thought I loved him.. "Lu.. You did love Midnight." He whispers into my ear. So now what?? "Lu, I am your mate.." He whispers. But I love Midnight... So I'm not sure what I should do Mysty.. Before he could answer I fall asleep in his arms. "I love you Lucy" I hear Mystagon say. I..

I wake up again in Mystagon's arms. I snuggle up to his chest. "Lu??" He says sleepily. Hmm?? "Good morning" he says a little more awake. Good morning Mysty. I say while I sit up. He sits up and says "how was your nights rest" fine.. I get up and grab some clothes and say I'm going to take a bath. After I get out you can take a shower okay?? I get into the bathroom and turn on the water. Did Mysty tell me that he loved me? Should I love my best friend or my childhood friend?? I just don't know anymore. I thought I loved Macbeth. I thought he was my mate. Is it true that if he was my mate. I would be feeling tingling when I was around him. Did I make a mistake??
