Chapter 13: MY TRUE LOVE

Mystagon's POV

Lucy just told me that she.. has feelings for... me.. Isn't Midnight still her boyfriend?? I do love her. It's just I don't want to hurt Midnight (they have become good friends). Why now?? I just got them back together. Now she is confessing to me.. Lu??.. I don't know what to say.. I do have feelings for you too. I just want you to be happy with Midnight. He truly loves you and he deserves to be happy. Same with you Lu.. I'm sorry.. I reject your feelings. "Oh.. okay Myst.. I'm sorry for taking your time.." she tries to walk away. I grab her wrist. Lucy Heartfilia.. I still want to be best friends. I won't take a no for an answer. I just want you guys to be happy. I am truly grateful to be friends with such great friends as you.."I'll try to be just friends with you for a while. Just so I can get over you. I don't want to ruin my relationship with Macbeth. I just had to confess to you so I can move on with Macbeth... Please don't tell him any of this. It'll break his heart. He would break up with me.." she hugs me and walks away. I won't tell him any of this Lu.. for you.. 

Midnight's POV

DID I JUST HEAR WHAT I THINK I HEARD?? Lucy has feelings for Mystagon.. but I thought she loved me. ONLY ME.. this fucking hurts. "I'm sorry.. I reject your feelings." I hear Mystagon say.. Thank Mavis. "Oh..Okay Myst.. I'm sorry for taking your time..." Oh?? does she really love him?? does this mean that we will soon be over?? NO!! no one will take my Lucy from me. I love her and I know she still loves me.. she's just confused right now. probably because she thought for about a week that I was cheating.. DAMN.. I better run.. I run towards the table. I get there in time. "Oi, Macbeth.. I'm sorry for making you wait." she says and giggles. Oh.. no problem.. you guys ready to go?? "yea sure.." I grab Lucy by the waist and walk out. I hear Mystagon growling. Lucy giggles. "Oi, Mysty why you growling??" She asks. "ah, Lu.. someone was staring at you guys. I growled to tell them to back off.." he lied. "oh.." I chuckle. Lucy.. I stop and ask. Do you really truly love me?? I get it if you don't.. I just don't want to believe what someone was saying at the guild. "what why would you ask that.. You know that I truly am in love with you Macbeth. Don't listen to anyone. I do.." she replies seriously. "yes she does.. Mid, who said that to you anyways??" Mystagon asks.  No one.. I don't want to say.. I continue walking towards the guild hall. Lucy grabs me by the waist this time and pulls me closer to her. "I love you Macbeth" she whispers seductively. I just laugh and say I love you too Miss Lucy Heartfilia.

I'm sorry Minna.. Midnight had some doubt but he truly loves Lucy to trust her fully.
