If it wasn't for Killua, Yumi would've left right then.
Perhaps she would've returned to prison;
Or maybe she'd run off to live in the wilderness.
But, there was Killua.
And so she stayed.
In order to remain by his side, Gloves knew that she had to learn to control her power.
And so, she started to practice.
It was difficult to learn to shut her power off completely, so she took another course.
She started to fire the electricity intentionally, and found;
When the lighting shot out, her mind would be agitated.
It happened when she was angry;
Upset;
Tormented.
It was a skill based off her emotions, then.
It responded to fear and anger, and especially the thrill of killing.
Gloves winced;
She wasn't like that anymore.
She wasn't a monster like before.

After the Blink incident, the guards were not so lenient with the small girl.
But neither was she.
After being mistreated and abused,
She began to return the favor.
Within weeks, she had begun to be immune to their shrieks;
She even took pleasure in their pain.
But, that was before Hisoka.
Something had happened to snap Gloves back into her humanity.
