Daniel's POV
I stroke Fawn's cheek with a soft smile on my face, then lean closed to her, placing a kiss on her slightly pouting lips. Tulog na tulog pa siya at gusto kong ganun lang yun. Hindi ko alam pero lagi kong naaabutan si Fawn na gising sa gitna ng madaling araw.
When I find her she's always so quiet and looks like a ghost. Ang lalim palagi ng iniisip niya. She's overthinking.
I reluctantly get out of my bed, but not before making sure na maayos siya sa pagkakatulog niya. Bumaba na ako pero siyempre naghilamos na ako at nagtooth brush.
Gising na sila mama pagkababa ko.
"You're up early" Tumango ako at humalik sa cheeks ni mama bago ako maupo. Facing my two younger sisters.
"Anong meron?" Tanong ni mama at inabutan ako ng orange juice.
"Fawn is acting weird.." There was a loud clink from Magui dropping her fork, looking at me in disbelief. Nanlaki ang mata ko ng marealize ko kung anong pwedeng maging ibig sabihin ng sinabi ko.
"No, no, hindi ganun." Sabi ko and sighed at the end.
"Then how?" Tanong sa akin ni Magui.
"Well for starters, I think she's having problems sleeping, also she is too shy. She's always been shy, but not this shy. Also, she just... She's acting different. Not distant or mean anything like that. She's still very much Fawn, I just think something is bothering her, and knowing her she doesn't want to tell anyone, because she hates the thought of putting her burden on other's shoulder." I said taking a sip of my juice once in a while. Napapa english kasi ako kapag si Magui ang kaharap ko eh.
"How does she act off?" Tanong ni mama.
"I don't know. She doesn't eat much, doesn'r rumble about geeky random facts. She keeps on zoning out and lagi ko siyang nakikita looking like a ghost in the middle of the night." I said. And mom's eyes widened. She looked at me warily then back to her food.
"I'll go talk to her maybe she just needs advice?" Mom offered
"Thank you ma," I sighed in relief. Ngumiti lang siya at humalik sa noo ko bago tumayo at pinagtimpla ng kape si Fawn.
"You have to put sugar on that, hindi niya yan iinumin kung wala yun." I said as a matter of fact.
"So do you love her?" Tanong ni Magui smiling like the little devil she is.
"Yes now shut up" Dahil alam kong masusundan na yung tanong niya.
"Wait last, did you have 'you know' already at kung oo kailan and ginawa niyo ba dito yun?" Tanong niya at tinaas yung dalawang kilay niya.
Pero hindi ko siya pinansin kahit kinukulit niya ako..She's only 16 for Pete's sake and I'm 22!
Natigil lang siya sa pagkukulit ng bumagsak ang pinto at nakita na lang namin si mama at Fawn na tumakbo sa sasakyan.
Ohmygod what if somethings wrong with her? Paano kung may sakit siya? What if she's dying?!
Niyakap lang ako ni Carmella at nanood ng Disney para aliwin ako at hindi ko maisip kung ano man ang nangyayari.
