Switch 4

Fawn's POV

Nagstay ako sa kwarto sa loob ng 20 minutes bago lumabas ulit. Dumiretyo ako sa family room. Nakapatay na ang ilaw and nanonood si Daniel sa couch kasama ang mga bestfriends niya.

Tahimik kong nilinis yung kitchen. I put the plates into the dishwashers. Napansin kong wala silang snacks habang nanonood kaya naghanap ako sa mga cabinet.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" Napatalon ako sa boses na yun. Tiningnan ko si Enrique lang pala. Tumingin ako sa couch at lahat sila nanonood.

"I was looking for some snacks while you're watching." I said and held eye contact. He studied me closely then slowly nodded.

"Okay. May nakita ka ba?" Tanong nito.

"No kakadating ko lang. But I have some crisps if you want? Kunin ko lang. They're my favorite." I asked him gently. Tiningnan niya ako at kita ko ang pagtataka sa mga mata niya.

"Sure" He stepped aside kaya kinuha ko na yung mga crisps. Naglabas ako ng two bowls at nilagay yun dun inabot ko yun kay James then yung isa kay Daniel.

"May kailangan pa ba kayo?Inumin?" I asked them nicely

"There's some beer in the fridge." Daniel croaked out in a raspy voice, halatang kakagaling lang sa iyak. I cringed but nodded. Kumuha ako ng limang cans.

"Here you go. Where do you want me to sleep Daniel?" Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay dun.

"Uhhmm..ikaw bahala. Pero pwede ba akong matulog sa kama ko? I don't want to sleep in the guest room." He looked very hesitant and I mentally cringed. Kathryn made him sleep in the guest room of his own house?

"No, no. Kama mo yun. I'll sleep in the guest room if you want to." I smiled dahilan na muntikan ng mabilaukan yung apat.

"Yeah you can do that." Daniel said.

"Meron ba akong goodnight hug?" I asked all of them. They now look at me as if I'm an alien.

"Uh..er.. You never gave hugs before" Inigo told me as a matter-of-fact.

"I really want a hug though. I want to wish you all a goodnight." Sabi ko at tumango naman sila .They all look a bit skeptical. I grinned and hugged Alexander first. He carefully and awkwardly hugged me back. Ngumiti ako at niyakap si Enrique with one of my bear hugs. Then Inigo and James.

I looked at Daniel and he looked back at me. Ngumiti lang ako and bent down to the sitting boy. He wrapped his arms around me.

"Goodnight Deej." I said and kissed his cheeks.

"I'm really sorry sa nagawa ko noon and this time I'll treat you like a prince." I said honestly and kissed his forehead quickly.

Daniel's POV

"Sa tingin niyo ba acting lang ang ginagawa niya ngayon?" Tanong ko sa mga lalake ng sure na akong hindi na kami maririnig ni Kathryn.

"Hindi ko alam. This might all be bullshit though, maybe she's trying to gain your trust then break you all over again." Sagot sa akin ni Inigo. And I winced. Masakit pa rin ehh.

"Yeah, and mas mabait siya ngayon kesa pa nung una namin siyang makilala. Kathryn always had this edgy side on her. She never offered us anything or made us anything. And ayaw din niya sa amin" Alexander said at tumango naman ako.

"And isang beses ko pa lang siya nayayakap. And it was a forced and tense hug." James pointed out and I nodded again.

"Pero hinayaan niya akong I-delete ang number ni Nathan kanina." Sabi ko and they raised their eyebrows.

"Have they been talking lately.?" James asked and my heart clenched.

"Yeah, ayon sa mga texts nila nagkita sila sa France and slept together. And said that I'm an idiot and a loser. Also nagpla-plano ulit sila mag-meet tomorrow to hook up again." I told them and they cringed a bit and looked at me in sympathy.

"We'll wait till tomorrow then. Kung mukhang kahina-hinala siya, then it's an act if not, then I don't know." James said and we all agreed on that.

"Sabi niya namiss niya ako at niyakap kanina. She didn't yell at me for hugging or surprising her. Remember kapag sinagawan niya ako I'll break up with her.?" I asked and they nodded.

"Well she didn't and just smiled the whole time." Sabi ko

"Something has to be up. Hindi siya pwedeng magbago nang ganun sa loob ng two weeks." James said smartly. And then Inigo yawned.

"Matulog na tayo. Dito na kayo matulog, I know she hates it. I just want to see her reaction." I said and they smirked. We said goodnight.  Alexander and I went to my room, while Inigo and Enrique on the couch,  but then James  frowned.

"Umm.. she's in the guest room." James said and pointed to the closed door.
