Chapter 83. Consideration

"Kai, Kyungsoo, I have something to tell you later on," Said Kris as the both of them exchange gazes with one another. "So all we need to do is to wait for the official announcement before the registration," I gulp down a lump on my throat as I imagine of what will be the students' reaction of how they heard my voice.

Jin noticed Taeyeon who's been spacing out from the other side. And any moment, he sit right beside her and tap her shoulder. "W-what huh?" I look to the side when I snap away from my thoughts. But all he could ever do is to smile sweetly at me. A smile which I haven't seen from before.

"What's wrong? Is something bothering you?" He politely asked. Wait a second, Jin's been acting like this way lately, which is necessarily new for me. "N-no I don't have.. thanks for your concern," I stuttered and look down, fiddling both of my thumbs. "You know, don't think like your voice is bad," I got frozen on my position when his voice whispers through my ear.

I pivot to the side and found Jin's face dangerously near with mine. One wrong move and our lips will soon to be crashed together. And I whom the one who move away quickly, "Y-you h-heard it as well? Haha! That's not me though," I ended with an awkward chuckle, avoiding eye-contacts with him.

"Of course everyone heard it. But I knew that was your voice, Taeng. You sang that song for me before," Taeng!? He gave me the nickname!? Taeyeon quickly fix her attention to Jin who's unknowingly blushing, "W-why are you blushing?" That got him alerted as his back is now facing me. "N-nothing.. n-nothing, really," I slightly chuckle and pat his shoulder. "You know what, Jin? You're acting as rare as weird today,"

Kai's POV

"What's wrong, Kris? I thought you have something to tell us?" I asked as I crossed my arms, "Y-yeah. I do have," He stuttered, caressing his nape. "Then spill it," Kyungsoo said and sat down by the side, "The truth is.. Baekhyun's been really looking for you. He said that you should meet him at once by later on. He needs you both for the dancing and singing competition. It wouldn't become so perfect if two slots were out. Generally, the two of you were not there. It's very important that the both of you will be there by the Black Pearl side. Y-you know.. the steps and the lines of every song, you need to encounter those. He's begging you, meet him right away,"

Kai scoff from what he heard, "Now he needed our help? In his dreams. We will not cooper–" He was cut off by Kyungsoo, "Jongin, before you judge a book by it's cover, you need to know about his point of view as well. There's something with it behind those story," I quickly fix my attention at him, "Don't tell me you're going to help him after what he did!?" I asked in disbelief as he dart me with a stare.

"I would be lying if I say no. C'mon Kai, it's for the Black Pearl section as well. The media or worst, the nation will find out all about this of what's happening within the Black Pearl leader versus the members who's having a bad terms between each other. You wouldn't want to be hunted by medias, right?" That made me speechless.

"Count us in, where should we meet him up?" He dart his attention to Kris, "But–" I'm about to react when Kyungsoo gave me a glare which made me shut my mouth up. "At the Botanical Garden," Without knowing, Kyungsoo drag me along with him.

I let out a heavy sigh and pull away, "Now what!? You're forgiving him that easy after what he did to your cousin!?" Kai growled, Kyungsoo sighed as well and turn his back to me, "Come on, Kai. You're not Taeyeon so why are you affected so much? Is that situation really matters to you? Even me who's her cousin doesn't even think about it for now, but what about you? It's as if.. you're her rejected admirer," I was stoned on my position when he frankly said those statement.
