Prologue

Prologue 

Nagising ako sa mabangong amoy ng mga bulaklak. Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti sa gitna ng malamig na panahon. The scent of the flowers was too calming. I couldn't help but to tighten the blanket against my whole body and curled myself like it wasn't time to wake up.

I want to sleep more. Iyong walang klase na iisipin, walang assignment at nakakakabang recitation. But I should accept the fact that in any moment, my grandmother will enter my room clad with her broomstick to remind of my daily responsibilities. School.

I want to cry. My every day problem is to wake up early. Hindi ko iilang beses hiniling na sana tumigil muna ang oras at hayaan akong matulog. I want to feel the softness of my bed and the warmth of my comforter.

Should I be absent? Kahit ngayon lang. Sobrang lamig, nakakatamad pumasok.

"Claret..."

Hindi ko pinansin ang unang tawag sa akin.

"Claret..." I grabbed the nearest pillow and covered my ears to avoid the voice.

"Claret..."

Ngunit sa ikalawang tawag ng pangalan ko ay marahas na akong napamulat. Boses ng lalaki! Lalaki sa loob ng kwarto ko!

Nanatili akong hindi gumagawa ng kilos. Ano ang ginagawa ng lalaki sa kwarto ko? Nasaan si lola?

Nagsimula na akong kabahan. Siguradong ipapasunog ako ng aking lolo nang buhay dahil may lalaki sa loob ng kwarto ko!

Pero halos mapapadyak ako sa napansin ko. Wala ako sa kama ko! I was not inside my room! Paano ako nakarating dito? Wala akong matandaan. Uminom ba ako kahapon?

"Come on, Claret, stop that act."

Kilala niya ako, at ano ang sinasabi niyang act?

Napasigaw na ako nang may biglang humila ng makapal na comforter na nagtatago sa akin. Mabilis akong naupo at umatras hanggang sa headrest ng kama.

Natulala na ako nang tuluyan nang makita ng aking mga mata kung nasaan ako.

I was in a strange room with this gorgeous--- no a stranger. Sino siya? Bakit ako nandito? Ano ang nangyayari?

I was sitting on a red bed full of white rose petals. What's with this setting?

I couldn't help but to be awestruck when I looked down on myself.

Wala akong natatandaan na may ganito akong damit. I was wearing a silk black dress, and I could vividly see the traces of my nipples on it.

May nangyari ba sa amin?

Kusang yumakap ang mga braso ko sa aking sarili upang itago ang katawan ko.

"W-who are you?! Y-you molested me!"

Nang sandaling magsalubong ang aming mga mata, hindi ko mapigilang hindi mapalunok ng ilang beses.

I should hate him and curse him to death, but what's wrong with me? I couldn't help but to admire him. He's too beautiful, and damn topless.

Ano ang ginagawa ko sa kwartong ito kasama siya? Paano ako napunta rito at nagising na ganito ang suot?

He's elegantly sitting in front of me with his crystal glass filled with red wine. His eyes were too intense while staring at me. My heartbeats were getting wilder.

As our eyes battled, an image started to appear inside my mind. He's familiar...

"B-bakit ako nandito?" I asked him hesitantly. Ang huli kong natatandaan ay magkausap pa kami ni lola.

I waited for him to answer but the stranger just vanished. Sinubukan kong hanapin siya sa paligid pero hindi na ako nahirapan. I suddenly felt his warm breath on my right ear.

My heartbeats hammered rapidly while I felt my whole body go numb.

"Open your mouth..."

Hindi ko nais sumunod sa kanya pero kusang bumuka ang bibig ko na parang siya na ang nais sundin niyon.

Did he cast something on me? Hindi ako makagalaw.

Wala akong ibang nagawa kundi panuorin ang ginagawa niya sa akin. Ramdam ko ang ilang daliri niya sa itaas ng mga ngipin ko. Parang may pilit siyang kinakapa sa aking mga ngipin.

Is he a dentist?

My brows furrowed when I saw uncertainty on his expression. "I didn't turn you..."

Turn me what?

Hindi ko nagawang makasigaw nang bigla niya akong inihiga sa kama. My body couldn't just follow my own command! Para iyong nakahanap na ng bagong paglilingkuran.

My damn body was following his orders! I couldn't even utter a single word!

I screamed inside my mind when the stranger tilted my head sideways. I abruptly closed my eyes. I don't want to witness this!

My breathing started to get heavy when I felt his warm breath on my neck. But what made my mind turn upside down was his next move. He sensually dampened my neck using his tongue, until he started licking it with his slow and teasing caress.

Ramdam ko ang biglang pag-iinit ng buo kong katawan.

And when his lips tried to move and explore more of my skin, I finally had the control of my whole body. Agad kong iginalaw ang aking mga kamay at buong lakas ko siyang itinulak.

He didn't even flinch.

"You are really something..." he said filled with amusement.

With his quick movement, he easily pinned both of my hands above my head.

"This is rapi--" umiling siya sa dapat sasabihin ko.

"This is feeding, baby..."

This was his last words before he bent on my neck again, and all I could do was to scream. The pain pierced on my skin overwhelmed my whole system. As his lips ruled my neck, my body started to burn and my strength started to waver.

Tama ba ang tumatakbo sa isip ko? Totoo ba ang talaga sila? Bakit kailangang ako pa?

"You're sweet..."

My eyes were getting blurry. Hindi ko na makita ang kanyang mukha. I tried to slap him, but the last thing I saw was his lips with the traces of my blood.

"You're a vampire..."
