Chapter 80. Team Pom-pom & Popcorn

We walk towards the said computer and stared at it for a moment, clueless. "Okay.. I guess we need to operate or switch on the computer, am I right?" Jessica said as Kai and Kyungsoo search for the switch. And as soon as they're done, the computer turned on and we wait for it from loading.

"Are you sure that it's still saved until right now?" I asks while holding the flashlight that Kris held earlier. "Of course. Nobody knows about that files except for me and Baekhyun," Kris answered, "Unless.." Kyungsoo thrilled, "He didn't delete the files himself," That made Kris stopped from typing on the computer.

"I'm sure he didn't." Kris reassured. Now, while Kris was busy typing on the keyboard, Taeyeon was busily wandering around the place of how wide and magnificent the dean's office was. Wow! It is my first time to enter in the dean's office. It's more look like a one huge mini palace as I can observe, even though it's dark.

"Hello, everyone! How are you doing?" I got startled when the front door slung opens. I pointed the flashlight on their way and sighed in relief when those were just the members and the girls. "Sooyoung-ah! Quiet down, we're focusing here!" Tiffany shushed her down.

"Yeah. And the fact that maybe someone will witness us here," Yoona knock on Sooyoung's forehead. "Wait. Why are you guys here? Where are the guards?" I asked curiously, "Oh. They went home because of Yuri," Sunny patted Yuri's shoulder, "Really? What exactly happened?" I put a palm on my mouth, "Long story short," Jungkook answered.

"I got it, guys! You need to see this!" Kris announced as we all gathered around the computer. I narrow my eyes to clear my vision and starts reading the files silently. When the real said proof was flashed all of the sudden. Dated 16th of June, two thousand and twelve. In the time 7:56 pm. The same date that Kris used to tell us.

And the fake votes of Baekhyun were there! Leading the first place rather than Jin who was the second placer! "We need to make sure that the dean will see this himself," Kris muttered while pointing at the screen of the computer.

All of the sudden, the lights turned on as we heard an unfamiliar voice from behind us, "Tell me what?" We turn around and widened our eyes in shock when we find the dean standing right in front of us now! With four other bodyguards on every of his side.

"Why children! What are you doing here in this place? And perhaps in a late hours!" He exclaimed in disbelief, walking towards our way. "You know that I have the power to bring you all to the detention office tomorrow because of trespassing a property that is not yours!" His voice increase as I bit my lower lip as if I'm the only one got scolded.

"But sad to say, three of you were Black Pearl members," Which made me raise my head as he mentioned those. A small smirk creep on his face when his eyes landed on mine, "I'm glad you find out about the truth, dear Black Pearl," I widened my eyes in horror. Is he referring to what are we doing right now?

"You don't have to stand a chance against it, children. It is already posted and that files you're searching right now, cannot be undone," He shook his head at the end, "If you're looking for the other files and documents, you have no chance to win against it." He paused, darting us with a look and his smirk expanded. "It's useless. It was been thrown away years ago. Thanks for your help Kris and the Black Pearl leader Baekhyun will continue ruling Korea as long as he can," Everybody gasped. Including Kris who's blinking his eyes in disbelief.

"B-b-but.. all of those were illusions! You didn't know about the truth and everything!" Kai retorted but the dean motioned him his palm, "I know. I already know about it before Kris and Baekhyun themselves," Once again, curiosity climbs in my whole system.

"W-what do you m-mean?" Kris stuttered, trying to find out. "You see, I'm the one who told Baekhyun to do something so that he can win the elections. In short, I used him so that I can also have the power in his right hand," As he ended, Kai and Kris are about to attack him when those four bodyguards protected him. "You bastard! You used your own nephew! How dare you!" Kai pointed at him angrily. I widened my eyes in disbelief. Baekhyun.. is his nephew? H-he is his uncle?

The dean, smiles creepily. "At least no one will interfere anymore. And you," He pointed on my way, "You should be glad that you're the chosen one as the present Angel. Why are you helping them anyways?" I bite the inside of my cheeks, "I just wanted to bring back of what's right. And even if I got this title right now with me, it seems to be useless and I'm living in this life with full of lies," The dean's eyes were smiling at this time.

"Good definition, my dear. But I'm sorry, Jin is out of the list by now. The documents and files were shattered into pieces and were gone for how many years," Once again, everybody felt useless and lifeless. Our efforts were nothing. "Carry on. Bring them all out," And since we have nothing to do, the bodyguards lead us outside.

Kris, Kai and Jin were gritting their teeth in anger as the dean smirks arrogantly. As soon as we were thrown away from the university, the girls let out a heavy sigh. "Is there still any chance that we stand against Black Pearl?" Jin asks lifelessly.

Everybody are quiet the moment we exit the gates. Kris stands up, halting us to stop from walking. "We still have a chance to do. I'll help you guys with it." He paused, slowly looking on my way, "Especially to Taeyeon,"

"No one will leave the Sapphire. I will help you with the situation. We're still on with the plan. And this time, it is considered as revenge,"
