Vanni's POV:
I went downstairs to get my breakfast and noticed a package on the table with a note beside it. I sat down and read the note and smiled to myself. It read, 'Happy anniversary, beautiful. Hope you like it. I'll pick you up at 8.' I opened the package to reveal a beautiful red dress. I picked it up and it felt super soft. I got my breakfast, then headed upstairs to get ready.
Riker's POV:
I hope Vanni liked my little gift I left in her kitchen. I was taking her out to dinner and then driving around the city. I bought a new outfit yesterday too because I wanted to look nice for her. At 8pm, I knocked on her door. She opened it within seconds. She lunged at me and gave me a huge hug. "Riker! The dress is stunning!" I laughed and took her hand and we walked to the car.
