Chapter 78. Kris

"Jongin! I saw Baekhyun by the other side of the corridors!" Taehyung run towards our direction while catching his breath. I blink at him countless of times, "Maybe you just saw your own reflection," I stated but he shakes his head, "I'm telling the truth! But good thing he didn't hear any single voices of some of you that you're here!" He panicked.

"W-what did you say?" Taeyeon automatically stands up from her seat like a dog. Don't tell me, she still cares for that guy? Tch. "It's true Black Pearl. He seemed to be awfully furious by looking for someone right now," Taehyung stated.

"I-I can go talk to him!" She said in a hurry and was about to reach for the doorknob when Kyungsoo held her back, "Whoah! Don't act like that way, Taeyeon. You heard V, Baekhyun looked furious enough while looking for someone. That can be possibly us. Or worse, it might be you. He's freaking worried too much for your own sake," That made Taeyeon loosen her grip from the knob.

"And to be safe, let's stay here. Jin will be the one to command us whether we go or not," I stated, "What!?" All of them asked in unison, disbelief. "C'mon you guys, we're working as a team. Jin's becoming a Black Pearl leader soon enough if we solve this case. In fact, we're still a solid Black Pearl members," I correction.

Everybody turned dead silent as the girls exchange gazes with one another. Taeyeon bite her lower lip and went back to her own sit, "Jin," I called out as he look at me with a brow arched up, "Come here," I said with my hand gesture, like he's a dog for me.

"What is it?" He asked as soon as he got his seat, "Tell me if we're getting our moves towards Baekhyun," He turn speechless for a minute or two. Hence, he took a glance from where Taeyeon was. "I'm stating this with true honesty. But.. I think we should ask the girls to transfer here as officially the members of Sapphire. We need their help, I need your help too. Taeyeon needs us by her side since she's at the very deepest part of attention when AhRee arrived. I've got a perfect plan for that and will soon to reveal. Baekhyun seemed that he doesn't mind at all," I listen to him.

"It's as if.. Baekhyun doesn't care about her disappearance. We need to help her and she needs backup. So I'm suggesting to convince the girls to stay as officially a Sapphire members," He ended. I put two fingers on my chin, "So what you meant is.. we need to transfer in this section as well?", "I'm not saying through that way. But we need you and Kyungsoo here almost everyday. But I cannot protest, it's your own decision whether you transfer or not," He answered.

"I'll see what we can do. You can count on us," He flash me a small close-mouthed smile, "Thank you,"

The door slams open reveals the unexpected someone that we never wanted to meet. Everyone locked their attention through the door as Kai, Kyungsoo and Taeyeon widened their eyes in horror to see him standing right in front of them now.

They slowly open their mouth and say in chorus, "K-kris?"
