Chapter 72. Our Generation

I gulped down a bit of the soda and forced a smile, "It's oka–", "We know you so much Taeyeon. Don't try to hide those things ruining your thoughts," Jessica said, now with a serious tone of her voice. I lower my head and bite the inside of my cheeks, "I'm sorry. I was a bit over fatigue for what happened to me last night," I lied, even though it is not.

"You should take more rest," Yuri brushed my hair upwards as I nodded and give out a beam.

We stayed in the cafeteria for a bit longer as our will, "Oh, Yuri! I remember the paper dolls you gave me!" I exclaimed and pointed an index finger. Yuri's expression enlightened, "Really? Have you really took care of them?" I nod cheerfully, "Of course! I also treated them like a real live dolls with your own features. Auntie once told me that I looked like paranoid sometimes," Both of them chuckled at the end. "But sad to say, I didn't bring them with me," I frown.

"It's okay though," Yuri smiled. Just in time, my eyes widened in surprise when I saw the girls from the Emerald. They noticed my presence so they run towards my way while squealing and screaming, not minding other students who were looking at us right now like weirdos.

They all swoop me into a warm and tight embrace. Almost as if, killing me to death in happiness. "We missed you!" Tiffany said, not letting go of the hug as the others already let go. I pat her back and smiled, "I know. I missed you girls as well," And finally, Tiffany released me from her undying embrace.

"You're not visiting us more often," Sooyoung frowned. I lower my head because of disappointment, "I'm sorry girls. But I've gone busy too lately," I said, "It's okay. We understand your situation," Said Hyoyeon.

"May we know your friends?" Yoona asked sheepishly and receive a glare and a slap on the arm secretly by Sunny and Seohyun. I chuckled and went over to my best friends' side and pulled them both, "Of course! Meet Jung Jessica and Kwon Yuri! My best friends from Incheon," I said and beam at the both of them. "Ah~ you're the new transferees in Emerald section, right? Such a total coincidence!" Seohyun happily said.

"By the way, meet Sooyoung, Seohyun, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Tiffany and Yoona," I said and pointed each and every girls one by one, "Hello! It's nice to meet you!" Greeted Jessica and Yuri as they bow in chorus, "Hello! Nice to meet you too!" Greeted back by the girls.

"I was about to talk to them earlier but classes ended early and they suddenly vanished away from my sight. I could tell you, that we wanted to be friends with you guys," Hyoyeon said, flashing a pretty smile. Jessica chuckles before tucking some hair strands, "We're sorry. We went through the library in case we'll meet Taeyeon there. Coincidentally, we did," She narrated.

"Why don't you girls sit with us? It will be rude if you guys just gonna watch us and stand still like a statue," Offered Yuri, followed by a sheepish laugh by Yoona, Sooyoung and Tiffany.

Since the chairs were preoccupied too much and I cannot find more vacant chairs, I frown and had nothing to do but to stand right in front of them. "Come here Taeyeon-ah! Just sit on my lap! In fact, you're just a light person so I had no trouble carrying you," Said Jessica.

I smiled and seated on her lap comfortably as Jessica, wrapped her arms around my waist for support. "Aigoo. It's cute seeing Taeyeon like that way," Sooyoung giggled, and the girls cooed in chorus, "Yeah, you more look like a mother and daughter," Yoona said, slapping Tiffany's arms as she laughs.

I can feel my cheeks turn a bit hot because of embarrassment, "Well, let me tell you girls, we did this more often way back in Incheon," Stated Jessica and stuck out her tongue.

The girls and I were having a nice chat and they totally forgot what's their purpose here to come. They forgot to order, to eat or whatnot. Jessica and Yuri became close with them as well, and that made me satisfied.

Since they have no longer classes by this time, we spent our last remaining hours by the secret hangout of the girls. Where they used to introduced me from way back then. Laughter and giggles can be heard inside the place, followed by teasing and complaining remarks.

"Jessica, Yuri! You can move into our dorm!" Seohyun excitedly offered. Yuri flushed red spots on her cheeks as I can see, "Really? That fast?" She asked in disbelief. "Of course! We're friends now, right?" Sooyoung giggled, "Yes! All of us here are friends," I interrupted since I haven't talk for awhile now.

"Come on Sica~ I wanted to move in their dorm! You should too so that we can go to school together!" Yuri complained, clinging to Jessica's uniform, "Sure, why not? That ain't no problem with me," Jessica smiles, "That is? When?" I asked curiously. "Maybe by later, we still have time to pack up," Jessica answered.

It's good to be in a girls' dorm, right? I wish I could spend the most of my time with them. But sad to say, I'm locked up and cannot be undone. I am a Black Pearl member now. Should I regret accepting Baekhyun's necktie and logo that he gave me? Should I?

Maybe I shouldn't. The members were quiet funny and protective as well. They won't disappoint me that harsh. And as for Baekhyun, despite of having difficulties to adjust by this new attitude, I.. I-I.. I still have these.. hidden f-feelings for him. Which I want to c-confirm it first.

"Is there any problem, Taeyeon-ah? You look sad," Sunny frowned, brushing my bangs upwards just to see my eyes. "Bare with her, she's been acting that way ever since she saw us," Yuri said. "Maybe she does missed you a lot?" Tiffany's voice lingered, "Of course she does! Our Taeyeon here never failed to missed us so bad," Jessica cuddled me in her arms like a kid.

"Seriously, you two both look like sisters," Sooyoung interrupted, "Because we are sisters, right?" Yuri joined the cuddling moment as Jessica held Yuri's temple and pull her head to hers'.

"Hey! What about us?" Yoona frowned cutely. I smiled and spread my arms, motioning them to give me a hug, "Of course! We are all sisters!" They all smile brightly before racing to who's the first one to cuddle me.

Jessica and Yuri's lips expanded from ear to ear. As soon as everyone were settled down, still hugging with each other, Jessica spoke, "This is our generation,"

I nodded and wrapped my arms around the nearest person. And that's totally Sunny. "We are the Girls' Generation,"

Black Pearl Dorm, Taeyeon's POV

"You forgot to drink your medicines," I was greeted by Baekhyun who's crossing his arms over his chest. On his back, were the members who were doing the same gesture, "You were late," Kyungsoo said firmly.

"You were all sweat," Xiumin said, without any reaction from his face. "You were completely untidy," Luhan continued, "Your hair is a mess," Kris added. "And you smell like a flower," Everyone dart Tao with a glare, "I-I'm sorry, I forgot my line," He slightly bow his head. "Okay, forget about the flower, Black Pearl. In exchange, you smell like a sun," He correction and turned serious all so sudden.

I raise one brow. Are they trying to block me from entering the dorm? Should I stay outside for a bit longer? "L-look.. I was just–", "In, now," Baekhyun cut my words and pointed the inside of the dorm. Motioning me to enter the place as soon as possible.

I felt shivers when he's staring at me like he wants to eat me alive right away. I bit my lower lip and enter the dorm as they made a way for me to walk in. "Change your clothes, young lady. Now," Kyungsoo's voice commanded me. I felt like a child who had been scolded by her own 12 fathers.

Without any further more explanations and reasons, I quickly rush through the stairs.
