No One's POV
"What?!" Jerome and Monroe yelled in sync.
"Just leave." Mrs. Peterson insist.
"Why?" Jerome asked.
"Jerome, because there has been some misconceptions." Mrs. Peterson answered.
"What do you mean, there has been some misconceptions?" Monroe asked.
Mrs. Peterson sighed. Then said, "Madeline's not here."
"What do you mean, she's not here; I just saw her at lunch, sitting with the other kids!" Jerome roared.
"Jerome, calm down." Mrs. Peterson insist.
"No, I'm not going to calm down, until you tell me where Madeline is." Jerome argued.
"Jerome, that's the problem, I don't know where she is, all I know is that she's not here." Mrs. Peterson retorted.
"Mrs. Peterson, just tell us how do you know that Madeline's not here." Monroe said calmly.
She sighed. "Okay, when we were at the playground, we made the students from all 3 classes, play for 20 mins. Once their 20 mins of recess was up, we told all of them to line up. After that, all 3 of us teachers checked all 3 classes to check, if all of students were there. And out of 103 students, we didn't see Madeline, so we knew she was gone, so now I'm just going to have to talk to the principal about this and also your parents." Mrs. Peterson explained.
"Thank you, Mrs. Peterson." Jerome replied.
"Anytime." Mrs. Peterson replied back.
"So now what do we do?" Jerome asked.
"You can come get her stuff out of my classroom." Mrs. Peterson answered.
Jerome and Monroe nodded.
Mrs. Peterson, opened the door, to let them inside. Once they went inside, they both followed her to her classroom, to get Madeline's supplies.
