Bringing Kathy Home

Kathy's POV

It was so nice hearing from Elliot and Olivia and when they said it was okay for me to come home i was more that excited because I haven't seen my daughter in a while and I miss her very much. When I got on the flight I was all too excited. My plane landed in new your at 11am and I was greeted by Elliot and my little princess who picked me up. Cierra ran into my arms and I held her tight, I hasn't been able to hold her or kiss her in far too long and in all my time away I thought about what a terrible mother I've been bringing such a horrible man into our lives. she almost lost her dad because of me, she would have had to grow up without a mother if Elliot and Olivia hadn't helped me get away.

Elliot must have seen the look on my face and knew exactly what I was thinking because he gave me a sympathetic smile and said "it's not your fault kathy, the main point is that your back home and we're all safe. Cierra missed you so I think she just wants to spend some time with her mother right now, she doesn't care about the circumstances she just wants you"

What am I supposed to do elliot, I have no job or money, we have no place to stay. Cierra and I are basically homeless. Could she just stay with you and liv while I try to figure something out?

Elliot: you know neither liv or I would have a problem with keeping cierra until you get back on your feet, but I knew things are complicated now so I've set you up in a house that i've leased for the next year, you and cierra are not homeless and don't worry about the bills and everything else, I got it covered

I can't ask you to do all of that, it's too much. I can get my job back at the hospital and work something out for the two of us

Elliot: Cierra is my daughter and I'm doing this because I can't have her living god knows where. The house is down the street from liv and me, that way she can see noah and sofia everyday. I've talked this over with my wife who is completely fine with the idea of having you guys in the area. I want my kids to grow up together and she knows that. I'm not wasting anymore time explaining, lets get going

I got my things and hopped into the car with elliot and my daughter, he took us on a fast food drive through and got us something to eat the took us over to what must be our new home and helped me get our things inside. After giving cierra a kiss goodbye he headed home. I'm thankful to have people like elliot and olivia in my life and in my daughter's lives because some women wouldn't want their husband's ex living so close. Some women don't even like children that aren't their own, but it was never that way with olivia and we're actually friends. Any feelings I had for elliot is long gone. I love him but as a friend, we haven't been in love for a very long time and I'm happy that he's moved on with someone who can make him happy because he deserves it

Olivia's POV

When I woke up I noticed that elliot had already left out with cierra to pick up her mother from the airport. I guess he must have let me sleep in which was well needed after a crazy night with the kids. I woke up around ten thirty and gave sofia and noah their baths then started on brunch which was almost done. Elliot walked in the house at eleven thirty when I had set the table for us to have brunch together

Elliot: good morning my beautiful wife and kids. Did you three sleep well?

You know I don't like waking up to an empty bed, but thank you for letting me sleep in today because I really needed it. Was cierra excited to be back with Kathy?

Elliot: she was so happy and you were right about Kathy pitting up a fight with me for covering their expences for a while. You women and your pride. I told her to stop arguing about it and dropped her off. She wanted me to thank you for her. You took great care of cierra

Well she's my stepdaughter and I love her as if she was my own child. You could have invited them over for brunch

Elliot: I thought you'd still be asleep so I stopped and got them something on my way back. I know in the beginning you didn't sign up to be a step mom to another woman's child when we got married, but thank you for accepting her into your heart. I know when we first round out about her you were confused and so was I, but you never treated her any different from Sofia and I love you so much for that

I love too and its not like you knew about her before we got together, but if you did would anything have changed with us. Would we still be here with a son and a daughter or would you have went back to Kathy?

Elliot: if I'd found out when you and I has just gotten together nothing would have changed because I knew when we went on that fist date it was what true love felt like. I wish I'd known about her sooner because it sucks how I missed so much of her life, but I'm glad I know now because I love my girls and I love my son, you gave me that and I love you so very much. Your amazing and your with me through thick and thin. Marrying you was the best decision I've ever made. I never want you to doubt how much I love you and our family

It won't ever happen again, I just wanted to know if things would still be the same because we may have a few bad days when you get on my nerves, but I lobe you and I think I'm one in a million because I get to have this perfect life with you and as for when I found out that we now have a blended family I was in shock, but that little girl you've got is one amazing kid

Elliot: your one amazing woman

He pulled me in for a long and passionate kiss

Sofia: mommy I'm hungry

Okay baby girl, let's get you and little Noah something to eat

Elliot: we will finish this later

He gave me one last kiss then started helping me with feeding our kids, after brunch we let the kids play as we sat together on the living room. Watching our son hold on to whatever he could as he started making a few steps. He then let go of the table and started getting around until he fell. We watched as he got right back up and continued walking

Elliot: moments like these are what I live for. I love you Mrs Stabler

I love you too Mr Stabler
