Chapter 21

Tarah POV

We got to the signing and everyone was waiting

I saw Casey and walked over to her

"Hey Casey, do you think you could watch the twins during this?"

She got the biggest smile on her face

"Of course! and if you need anybody to watch them, I will do it!"

"Thank you so much, I was nervous about not finding anyone! I will call you whenever I need you!"

She smiled and took the twins and Adam and I walked to the stage

A guy that had Eden Hall on his jacket walked to the podium

"Good morning everyone, I am Dean Buckley, president of Eden Hall and here to welcome our new JV hockey team, please welcome The Ducks"

Everyone clapped and Coach walked to the podium

""Its a great honor to be here today, to introduce you to a truely gifted group of kids. Sure they can they can be a little rambunctious. They've tun me ragged and played more then their fair share and pranks, I still haven't forgotten about those eggs, but i hung in there and they hung in there for me. We became the Quack Attack, the Flying V and the Bash Brothers, I have never had a better time, now I hand you over to the capable hands of my old biology teacher and the current headmaster of Eden Hall, Dean Buckley, Dean"

Dean walked back up to the podium

"I Dean Buckley, proud to represent these full athletic scholarships to the Eden Hall Academy, where the Ducks will be happy Warriors and lead us on to glory!"

Everyone cheered

I saw Coach talking to Casey with a sad look on his face

"Charlie, what is wrong with Coach"

"I don't know"

I looked back and he pointed at Adam, Charlie and I and motioned to fall him

We walked off the stage and Charlie started to talk

"School looks stuffy, well loosen it up, huh coach?"

"I'm not going to be your coach this year Charlie"

I gave him a shock look but I didn't want to say anything

"Yeah very funny" said Charlie fake laughing

"I just got the offical word, the Junior Goodwill Games Committee has named me Director of Personnel, I'm gonna be in charge of their junior hockey team worldwide"

"Well don't go"

I could see Charlie getting mad

"Charlie, I can't pass of this opportunity"

He laughed "But you can't give us up right, I mean you dump us in this stupid school and--"

"I'm not dumping you anywhere, Eden Hall is a great chance for you"

"Coach please...don't go"

"Charlie I know it's hard, I understand what your going through"

"no, you don't understand, you obviously don't have a clue"

Charlie walked off and it was silent

Tears formed my eyes

"Tarah, I'm sorry"

"I need you to stay and help me out!"

"Tarah, I was going to tell you sooner but I couldn't"

Tears dropped

"Thanks a lot" I said running off

"Tarah!" he said screaming back

"Adam, I'm sorry"

"You shouldn't be apologizing to me, you should be apologizing to Charlie and Tarah, you broke there hearts"

Adam walked away and we headed home with nothing to say
