*about two days later*

Y/N's POV:

Cicero and I were just walking along a path to Whiterun, where we needed to deal with our target. It was about 8:30pm and the aurora just began to appear. I stopped walking and looked up towards the sky's shimmering dance.

Cicero stopped walking soon after and looked up also.

"Beautiful, isn't it, Listener?" Cicero smiled.

"Yeah..." I smiled back.

*thump thump*

"Huh? Did you hear that my Listener?" Cicero whispered, taking out his ebony dagger.

"Hmm? No I think you're just hearing things..." I looked at him with soft eyes.

"Dark brotherhood scum get them!" A yell came from behind us.

Before I could turn around and brandish a weapon Cicero pushed me hard into the ground as I heard an arrow whip past where I was standing.

I was utterly speechless as Cicero was slaughtering all of the bounty hunters.

I went to get up and help but he had already killed them all and was walking over to me. (Incase you all wanted to know; I just sneezed while writing this... Yup, I knew you wanted to know when I sneezed, you're welcome)

He stood over me with his hand out and blood dripping from his elbows, shoulders, and hair. "I told you Cicero heard something!" He giggled as I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up.

"Wow... Thank you, Cicero" I blushed.

"No problem, serving you and the night mother is all I live for!" He smiled and then continued to walk back down on the path.

"Cicero you should clean yourself up... You'll look pretty suspicious with blood dripping from you... Everywhere...." I say running after him.

"Hmm... Well, the Listener is always right, isn't she?" He said with a slight anger in his voice.

"Are you alright, Cicero?" I place a hand on his bloody shoulder.

"Oh I'm fine..." He said laughing.
"We should get to a nearby river though, because you've gotten yourself pretty bloody too!" He smiled and seemed back to "normal"

"Oh, I guess you're right!" I laughed as we walked off to find a nearby river, like nothing happened.
