(I do not own rise of the guardians or any of Shakespeare plays. To be honest I don't know why I added this but, hey! At least you can tell your parents fanfiction is educational.)

I woke up with a pain in my face. It was like sharp pins were being dug into my flesh and pulled.

"Ah gods," I growled. "Dam Brendan." Then I giggled to myself. 'Dam'. (To all you Percy Jackson fans that got that, I offer you a slice of blue cake with a glass of nectar. To all those who didn't I offer you a cupcake).

I tried remembering what had woken me up. Oh yeah, someone was knocking at my window.

I got out of bed with quite a bit of difficulty, opened the window and looked around. Where was he, or was I hallucinating thanks to the pain?

There was a sound of a clearing thought below me. I looked down and low and behold, there was Jack Frost. His staff was plunged into the snow and he crouched on the crook. Then he spoke.

"But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east and Natalia is the sun! Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief that thou his maid art far more fair than he."

Then he shouted for no real reason. "Sorry Manny." Then continued. "Hark, she speaks."

I had no idea what he was doing. I knew he was resisting act 2, scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, but he had just missed out a hold section and what was I supposed to do?

"I'm going back to bad," I said closing the window. "Wake me at a more reasonable hour."

"Oh, come on." he whined, pouting like a rejected puppy.

I sighed, well why not. I wasn't getting back to sleep any time soon and I could pretty much say it word for word. "Ay me!"

Jack cupped a hand to his ear. "She speaks. O, speak again, bright angel."

I decided to through myself completely into this. I pressed a hand to my forehead melodramatically.

"O Jacki-o, Jaki-o! Wherefore art thou Jacki-o"

Jack chuckled below me.

"Deny thy father and refuse thy name; or, if thou wilt not, be sworn my love, and I'll no longer be a Morozov."

"Shall I hear more," said Jack, "or shall I speak at this?

I cast my eyes to the heavens as though seeking divine help. "It is but thy name that is my enemy. O, be some other name. What's in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet; Without that title. Jacki-o, doff thy name, and for that name, which is no part of thee, take all myself."

"I take thee at thy word." Jack replied. "Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized; henceforth I never will be Jacki-o."

I fined shock, "how cam'st thou hither, tell me? The garden fence is high and hard to climb, and this place death, considering who thou art. If any of my kinsmen find thee here." I couldn't help but think about how my Dad would kill me for having a boy come to see me in 2:30 in the morning.

Jack did a somersault in the air, landing perfectly on his perch, hand on heart.

"With love's light wings did I overcome these walls. For wooden limits cannot hold love out, and what love can do, that dares love attempt: Therefore thy kinsmen are no stop to me."

I leaned further out the window. "If they do see thee, they will murder thee."

Jack shook his head. "I have a spirits cloak to hide me from their eyes, and, if thou not love me, let them find me here; my life were better ended by their hate than death prolonged, wanting of thy love."

"By whose direction found'st thou out this place?

Jack stood tall on his staff. "By love, that first did prompt me to enquirer. He lent me counsel, and I lent him eyes. I am no pilot, yet, wert thou as far as that vast shore washed with the furthest sea, I should adventure for such merchandise."

"Thou knowest the mask of night is on my face, else would a maiden blush be paint my cheek. Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say 'Ay', and I will take thy word. Yet, if thou swear'st, thou may prove false. At lovers' perjuries. O gentle Jacki-o, if thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully: Or if thou think I am too quickly won, I'll frown, and be perverse, and say thee nay."

Jack started floating up towards me, "Lady, by yonder blessed moon I vow..."

I cut in, "O, swear not by the moon, the inconstant moon, that monthly changes in his circled orb, lest that thy love prove likewise variable."

Jack was only meters from me now. "What shall I swear by?"

"Do not swear at all." I replied. "Or if thou wilt, swear by thy gracious self, and I'll believe thee."

Jack was eye to eye with me now, his cool breath on my face. "I am afraid. Being in night, all this is but a dream, too flattering-sweet to be substantial."

I whispered in slightly breathless tones, (he really was close). "Three words, dear Jacki-o, and good night indeed. If that thy pursuit of love be honorable, thy purpose marriage, send me word to-morrow,"

Jack grinned mischievously. "Sorry babe, but I got plans for tomorrow."

I gave him a look, "did you just call me 'babe'?"

When Jack realized he had, his eyes went wide and his face a healthy shade of pink.

"Careful," I said chuckling. "Or it'll start raining."

"Oh, shut up." He said, covering his embarrassment.

I shrugged, "whatever you say 'Love'."

We both burst into laughter.
