"Do you understand?" A nurse asked, M/N nodded wildly - stupidly, almost automatically, like she actually had been brainwashed - "Yes" She replied in a dull tone, Dane described that people that had the brain-transplant, acted almost like a robot, until time revealed the human stuff, anger, sadness, happiness, defiance - stuff that separated us from real robots. This was going to be hard, M/N reflected, looking at the woman with a blank expression, forcing herself to appear relaxed and calm. Dumb. The woman gave a cold, forced smile, "Good" She the pinned M/N's hair back. Childish. "You will listen to all the the grown-ups. Be polite, friendly okay?"
"Okay"
"Do you know where to go?"
"Yes" you dumb bitc-, She stopped the thought before it was finished. Thoughts are shown on the face.
The woman spouted, "Good girl" She moved to the door and opened it. "Then go"
Automatically M/N obeyed, while imagining hammering her face it with the computer that was in the corner of the room. Stop that!
But M/N didn't, she thought was choking Ava with her own bare hands, making the men, the woman beg. But she knew it wasn't just her vengeance, it was the groups. Group A. Group B. Y/S/N and F/N. They would want it, after all they went through. "Subject?" M/N then realised she had stopped in the middle of the doorway, staring at the wall on the opposite side of the corridor. M/N panicked, but forced herself to look up, "Yes?" she asked in the monotoned voice,
The nurses eyes flickered with fear. Did her hate shine through her eyes? "You alright?"
Shit. M/N kept her face carefully blank. "Yeah..." She trailed off, and managed a clueless, confused face.
"Just, just felt something"
The nurse's cold smile quivered. Uncertain. Scared. "Oh?" She kept her voice high and cheerful but it was fake.
"Yes, it almost hurt, like something inside me twisted, my organs, something" She kept that blank expression, that robotic face.
The woman eyes searched the acting girl. Then she kneeled, taking M/N hands in hers, "You see, little girl. You were in a bad position, you suffered a disease in your mind - what you remember as the Flare. We had to replace you brain okay? You will not remember anything but what you learned from that memory, you will remember general knowledge, but your reaction side suffered. You will have waves of emotions. You know what emotions are?"
M/N nodded. Yes. Oh so dearly.
"You have none - at the moment. You will, your brain will be remember these emotions okay? You will first off not get these signals, but they will get more common and you will piece it together"
Again a robotic nod. Okay.
The nurse sighed, trying to relax herself.
"Will I remember myself?"
The nurse frowned, "In what way?"
M/N almost sighed, "What we call memories"
The nurses almost looked sad, "No, honey. But you loved it here. This was your home, and that is why we had done what we had done. We couldn't bear to lose you" M/N almost shivered in disgust. You were probably glad to see me go actually. M/N nodded, "Okay" And then the conversation between the nurse and near-insane girl ended. And little did they know that one was going to end the other's life in a couple of weeks - apart from the one who planned it in her head, as she walked out of the room.

A test. What kind of test? F/N looked up, from her cage. The wall rising what seemed to be higher, although they ever grow, F/N knew it was her mind accepting that this was to be fate. To walk in the night and then to be shut off in the day. Although she could hardly walk, her leg now smelled like it was dead and rotting and it hurt -badly. Infection. F/N just realised that there was a cut in behind her knee, it probably happened when she broke it to be honest. That was probably the first step, the first step of her death. The first step of acceptance of death. It was what made her curl up in a ball as the walls closed even closer to her entrapped body. She wouldn't simply escape. Her plan would not work now. She was a goner. Even with a reasonable plan. She needed strength. And with no food, water and infection, where was strength going to be stored? F/N had started to eat the vines stems in hope of something - at least they weren't poisonous. What if they were and I died? Would the pain be gone? Or would it stay? F/N didn't really want to find out - even now.
Given up?
F/N jumped slightly, cursing.
You have to live.
"And what are you going to do about it?"
What if I say that you could eat Grievers?
F/N flinched, "I would rather die"
No you wouldn't. You want revenge first.
"Revenge who?"
Those that put you here
F/N managed a weak cackle, "I can't revenge when I dead, Voice"
Then don't die.
