Chapter 3 She's Pregnant

Recap: Leah and Kevin are home it's time for you to meet them Karen says pulling me out the door, well here goes nothing I think before I walk down the stairs

When we get to the bottom of the stairs Karen walks over to a man and little girl

"Hi honey I want you to meet Charlotte, Charlotte this is my husband Kevin and our daughter Leah" Karen tells me I don't say anything I just smile, my phone goes off and when I see who it's from I answer straight away,

C: Hi daddy, how are you?

D: Not good, Lily was In a car accident

C: Ohmigosh is she ok?

D: I don't know I'm so worried

C: Does Kim know? Do you want or need me to come home?

D: Yes Kimmy knows, and no I don't want you to come home you need to enjoy the time you have with your mother and her family

C: Are you sure?

D: Positive

C: Ok ring me as soon as you get news about Lily, I love you so much!

D: Ok darling, Love you to

When I hang up I turn back to Karen

"Hello I'm Charlotte it is lovely to meet you" I say to Kevin and Leah

"It's nice to meet you to Charlotte" Kevin replies while Leah just smiles up at me and waves I smile and wave back

"We'll I need to finish un-packing if that's alright with you?" I ask Kevin and Karen

"That's fine I will call you when dinners ready" Karen answers me walking away with Leah. I turn and walk up the stairs to my room when I walk in I see a note on the bed

'DON'T WRECK MY FAMILY'

I sigh and throw the bag away I grab my iPad and log on to Facebook I lie on my bed and look at my news feed, I see a post from Jake that makes me smile until I see the photo

I start to cry, turn off my iPad and go to sleep.

About two hours later I hear someone enter the room I open my eyes to see Leah sit in the corner of the room

"Leah what's wrong? Come here" I ask

Leah slowly walks over to me and climbs in to the bed, she's asleep within two minutes me following soon after.

"Should we wake them?"

"No lets leave them"

"Ok"

I wake up to the sound of my phone going off I see that it's a txt from my dad,

From: Daddy

Hi honey, I know you're probably asleep but just letting you know that Lily woke up and that we were told some interesting news

I ring my dad and he answers straight away

D: Hello

C: What's the news?"

D: She's pregnant

C: Who?

D: Lily she's pregnant
