7:30, Dominic's room

Dominic

For the second day in a row, I woke up to a gunshot. But this time, there were five of them. Eager to get out of my room, I quickly remembered what happened to Alex and reconsidered leaving. I waited about 10 minutes before accepting that whatever was going to happen was going to happen. I cautiously walked out of my room, looking for any tripwires on the floor. I knew that wouldn't prevent my death, but it made me feel better. As soon as I got downstairs, everyone looked relieved to see me.

"Thank goodness." Sam said.

Everyone was there, including Giles.

"Now that we are all here," he said, "We can get started on today's investigation."

"Is Matt dead?" I asked Bella quietly.

"Yup. Went for a morning swim and got shot five times."

Wow, I thought. Five times.

"Your five minutes to decide which area to investigate starts now."

Giles left the room. Since I had no idea what was going on, I figured it was safe to stick with the morgue.

Bella

Taylor, Dan, and I immediately found each other and started talking.

"If we want to be safe," Taylor said, "We need to split up so we can cover all of the areas. I'll take the crime scene. "

"I got the last known whereabouts," Dan said. "Bella, are you okay with the morgue?" He asked me.

"I suppose so," I said.

"Guys!" Dominic ran up to us. "I need your help. If I don't get some people to help me out here, I am going to be screwed. I've already been turned down by everyone else."

"Calm down," Dan said, "We'll help you. You're safe with us. Where do you want to go?"

"Thank you so much! I was planning on going to the morgue."

"Good," I said, "You're with me."

Dominic sighed loudly and collapsed on the couch. "Now I can relax."

7:35, Pool

Sam

Taylor, John, Simon, and I chose the crime scene, which was the pool. I went to check out Matt's spilled beer bottle on one of the poolside tables. Seeing it made me wonder if the beer was poisoned, but I figured that would have been too simple and quickly forgot the idea. Simon was over at the pool, seeing if anything was in it.

"Hey, Sam!" He yelled. "Is there anything in the drink?"

"No, nothing that would have killed him. Anything in the pool?"

"Just a bunch of rocks. What could that be?"

"No idea... Could Matt have been drowned?"

"Maybe," he said, "lets go see what Taylor and John are checking out."

John

Beside the pool, there were a few pieces of broken glass scattered around. Me and Taylor were checking it out when Sam and Simon walked over.

"What are you looking at?" Sam asked.

"Broken glass," Taylor replied. "The pieces are incredibly small, too small to put together or find fingerprints."

"Do we know where it came from?" Simon asked.

"No," I said, "no idea."

"I guess we're just gonna have to ask around, get more information." Sam said.

"Yeah," I said, "what did you find?"

"Nothing much," Sam said, "just a spilled beer and a bunch of rocks in the pool."

"Do we think that's it?" Simon asked.

"I certainly hope so," Taylor replied. "I don't see anything else that stands out."

The four of us looked around a bit more, but we didn't find anything. In 20 minutes, the bell rang. Time was up.

AN- Hey there! Sorry for the short chapter, I just haven't posted anything lately and I wanted to get this up as soon as possible. I personally like this murder a lot, as there are multiple herrings. But I don't want to give too much away, so ill leave it at that. Ult1m33p out. DOOP!
