I looked to my left to see the rest of the girls were turned back. What a relief.
I shot my head towards the entrance to see words changing. 'Erza vs. Evergreen. Winner: Erza' It's a rune! Freed's work... But why?
"Excellent work! Erza freed them. What are you going to do now that the hostages are free, Laxus?" The Master plundered.
All I could remember was being backstage, waiting for Lucy's performance to finish when Evergreen... Ah! Evergreen! That snitch turned me into stone and everything went black until now! hmph.. I hope Erza rearranged her face!
----
"Battle of Fairy Tail?" Lucy questioned.
"Laxus did what?" Cana added.
Master Makarov had explained everything that has happened to us. From the whole game to Laxus betraying us. Freed, Bixslow, and Evergreen, The Raijinshuu, were all against us as well. All the runes set up in Magnolia were all casted by Freed and anyone from Fairy Tail who got trapped in these runes had to defeat each other until only one was standing... You had to defeat your friends to save your friends practically. It's all very messed up. But.. I know that I could definitely take down these runes. I could feel the smirk tugging at my lips as I realized I could actually be a big help for once!
"Well It's over now." Master broke my thoughts. "With you all returned to normal, there's no way I'll play Laxus' silly game."
I looked around the room until my eyes fell on Gajeel. His face was stern as he paid attention to the Master. I couldn't help as I studied his face. My eyes darting down to his lips, back up to his piercings, and right back to his red eyes. My palms were sweaty and my heart began to beat rapidly. What the hell is this feeling I get every time I look at him? I froze when his eyes turned to meet mine. I tried looking away, but it was like his eyes had some sort of lock on mine.
"But what about everyone that was trapped in Freed's runes?" Mirajane's voice broke my gaze from Gajeel and I snapped my head to face her.
"That's right!" Bisca croaked. "If we don't teach Laxus a lesson, he'll never learn!"
"And don't I know it!" Master concluded. His brows furrowed together. " Damn you Laxus, you're not going to get away with this!"
"Wait a minute gramps." Natsu interrupted, "I don't blame Laxus for this game of figuring out who the strongest of Fairy Tail is.."
All of us girls gave him an 'Are you stupid?' look. And Master Makarov was gritting his teeth at him.
"Let the second battle of Fairy Tail begin!!" Natsu wailed as he made his way over to us and throwing punches towards us.
"WHAT?!" We all screeched in unison.
"Stop!" Makarov insisted.
Lucy struck Natsu over the head. "Give it a rest already, you idiot!" She screamed.
He stood up and began chasing Lucy around playfully.
"Here I come Lucy!" He squealed.
"Kyah!" she threw her hands up and ran from him.
I swear those two need to just date already... It's so obvious. Yet again, Natsu is pretty dumb and oblivious to Lucy's feelings. I sighed and looked over to Gajeel who was talking to Juvia. He was standing there with his arms crossed, acting like he was too cool to care. I looked away before he had the chance to return the stare. I didn't want that feeling to come back.
End of POV:
Levy and the rest of the female mages laughed as Lucy was being chased around by Natsu, Gajeel stood a couple feet away alongside Juvia. His face serious as he studied the group of what he thought as 'lunatic' mages.
