Chapter 68. Baekhyun To The Rescue

Just as I turn to the corner of the street, I heard laughter from the other side. Maybe just few drunk people spending their time in this rainy night. I snap it away from my thought and is about to proceed on turning everywhere when my vision turned blur for a moment. As an exchange, a picture of Taeyeon who's in trouble flashed in my mind for a second. After that, my chest began aching so madly.

I widened my eyes in horror, reminding the sudden flashed of Taeyeon in my mind. Is she in trouble? I look everywhere but I haven't trace her for once.

Then again, I heard laughter. But this time, someone's murmuring something and loud cries. Without hesitation, I turn to look for that spot since curiosity does really kills me.

It took long enough for me to finally found the shed where I saw three drunk people playing along with–

As soon as Baekhyun saw the person, his eyes enlarge. His blood boils and he's clenching his fist. Soon, he run towards the three, leaving his umbrella behind that made him wet, but enough for him to get dry due to the shed. As the other guy releases Taeyeon's mouth, she starts screaming because of fear.

Baekhyun fought the three drunk men as they also fight back. He's good at fighting since their school teaches martial arts. It's good enough to sway those three that easily while the other two, broke their bone in injury.

As for the last person, Baekhyun hooked his arm on the man's neck while Baekhyun's other free hand pull up his hair. He tightened the grip with his gritted teeth, "No one never messed up with my Black Pearl!" He said through his teeth gnashing together and finally released them.

The three men noticed that it's the Black Pearl leader they were fighting to. So they got fear and shivered, for they knew they could be sentence to death just only the leader's one simple request. "From now on," I spoke, pointing an index finger through their way, "I never wanted to see that face of yours' again, understood!?" The three nodded in chorus while trembling.

"If you ever hurt my Black Pearl or ever show up your presence to me or even as I can smell your scents, these were just not the things you're going to receive in the future," He showed them his ball of fist, "Scrap! Get lost!" He shouted due to his anger, and those men run away quickly together with their fractured bones.

I quickly look back and found the pitiful Taeyeon that I've ever seen. Her upper clothe was ripped. On the other side of her shoulder shows off her strap and her skin. She's shivering so much for two main reasons; One, she is afraid because of those bastards and two, due to the cold surroundings. Her face is wet because of her flood tears.

"Taeng," I softly said and tried to calm her down, but she slapped my hand away and sobs. "D-don't touch me.. don't t-touch me," Her lips were quivering in fear as well. Her hands were trembling and her feet were cold due to a slight skin contact.

"Shh~ it's okay now. It's me, Baekhyun," I tried to convince her and calm her down again. "D-don't touch me. T-they'll come back, d-don't touch m-me," Is the only words she can manage to say. "Taeyeon this is me, Baekhyun. You don't have to be afraid. It's okay now, those bastards won't come back. You're safe," I inch closer to her.

Good thing she believed me so I pulled her into my arms as she starts crying again. "Shh~ don't worry now, you're okay," I whisper. I don't know what's happening to my system but I suddenly planted a kiss on her head. She hugged me back as well and cuddled on my arm that is wrapping her securely.

My chest began aching again with no reason. But unlike earlier, it felt hurt. Now, it feels relieve and comfortable. I took off my jacket and wrapped it around her to make sure she's safe. "Stay here for a moment, I'm going to call for a ride way back to the dorm," I'm about to stand up but she grab my arm in time, making me sat down right next to her as she hugged my arm so tight, "P-p-please don't l-leave me," She muttered.
