There was once a small boy who was hurt by the ones that were meant to love and care for him. He was yelled at and send away for things he couldn't control, for things he didn't do. He was sent away because his parents thought his snotty older brother and bratty younger sister were better than the sweet, quiet boy. He was sent to his aunt's house, who made him do everything until she realised her nephew was thrown aside like she was when her sister got her magic.
So she changed, becoming a loving mother to both her son and nephew. With this she helped prove her son's godfather, Sirius Black, out of Azkaban for being a death eater, dispute sever evidence that he was innocent.

Years later finds a small family of four on 'Vacation' in Scottland.

"And this is Hogwarts." Sirius Black announces proudly. Aunt Petunia Evans and Dudley Evans look amazed at the sight at the beautiful castle, whereas I, Harry Potter, look at it in amusement and slightly bored look. Uncle Sirius looks at me slightly disappointed. I grin at him.
"Harry, as you know 'the girl who lived', and your older brother will be here and aren't expect you to be here at all." My grin widens. "Lets go give them hell." My Aunt Petunia says before grinning and taking Uncle Sirius' arm. I float, so it looks like I'm swimming, up the drive, past the wards. I feel my lord rings pulse and I smile. I look down at my rings; the Lord ring that rejected James Potter sits on my left ring finger along with the Lord Black ring, next to the rings of the four founders, which are on my middle finger, and the ring of Merlin which is on my pinky and the 'ring of power' on my right pinky. Each ring is different. The Potter Lord ring has lightning bolts around it.

The Lord Black ring has Castles.

The house of Gryffindor ring has fire.
