"I know, but he's an A+ liar," Candice replied, shaking her head. Genevieve frowned, hugging her Mate close to her. "He could say that he is planning to end The Committee yet he never does. I can't stand him!"

"You could videotape him testing on Divergents," Alyssa pointed out, looking at Candice seriously. "Nothing could go wrong if you have videoed evidence."

"I guess," Candice murmured, shaking her head. She looked over at Scott, smiling weakly. "You have any ideas, Scott?"

"I'm going to the rehab tomorrow," Scott started, looks at everyone seriously. Kevin took out his pocket notebook, ready to write down vital information. "Once I'm there, I will protect every Divergent there. Your dad will not be able to get to them."

"How though?" Tori asked, noticing how Avi was inching away from her. She sighed, trying to ignore it the best she could. "That requires a lot of sneaking in and pretending to be a Dive Divergent."

Scott smirked as he put in yellow contacts, smiling when everyone dropped their jaws. He took one out, waving it around whilst laughing a bit.

"I will succeed. I have to go to rehab anyway."

"Why?" Kevin asked seriously, his facial expressions full of worry. They changed to a look of shock when Scott looked away, not wanting to see Kevin's reactions. "You began to drink again, uh?"

"I'm sorry."

"That's not good, Scott! Drinking could hurt you!"

"I know and I hate myself more as each day goes by. I regret drinking again. I'm going into rehab for myself because I need to become better so I could be a better Alpha."

"You are one of the bestest Alphas ever," Jessi spoke up, smiling when Ben nodded in agreement. "You're always so sweet and take care of everyone around you. You are amazing, Scott! Never forget that!"

"Thank you, Jessi."

"He's doing this so he could become stronger," Avi spoke up, looking at everyone seriously. They nodded, adoring Avi's new leadership role. "I don't know how long it will take until he will be back home, but it will most likely take about a few months or a year. Until then, I will be Lead Alpha."

"What can't I be Lead Alpha?" Ben asked, frowning a bit. Everyone laughed, shaking their heads at Ben's adorableness. "I'm strong and I will fight back...unless if you don't want me to. I won't."

"You can't be Lead Alpha because you're an Omega, silly," Genevieve spoke up, giggling a bit. "When could we go home, Candice? I miss it."

Candice looked at everyone, not knowing how to explain it. Scott and Avi shared a look, Genevieve's innocence reminding them of Mitch's. Tori and Alyssa gasped silently. Their hearts breaking for the couple in front of them. Kevin sent Jessi and Ben upstairs, not wanting them to see Candice get upset. She sighed, wiping her eyes as she smiled at her Mate.

"Someday, baby. Not today or any other day because we're going someplace better than our home.

Genevieve nodded, not realizing that Candice was talking about Heaven. Scott frowned and was about to speak up when the doorbell rang, causing him to walk over there.

"I wonder who that could be."

Everyone shrugged as Candice pulled in Genevieve, knowing that they will die for failing Kirstin's task. She wants to protect her Mate, but now she can't.
