INGREDIENTS
500g fresh peeled cassava
1 teaspoon salt
Oil for deep frying

METHOD
Cut the cassava into thin strips about 10cm long.

Wipe dry with a tea cloth.

Heat oil to almost smoking point.

Place a few cassava strips in the oil and fry till light brown and soft in the middle.

Remove from oil, drain and add salt.

Cook all the cassava.

Serve hot with a sauce or serve with tea.

This cassava is crispy.
