Growling, you turned in your bed annoyed at the ruckus coming from your little sisters room a couple of doors down. Despite being only 8 you had already developed sleeping habits of a teenager. Suddenly a silence filled the air, joy and relief flooding into your sences as you finally started becoming sleepy when all of a sudden
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Your purple Orbs snapped open and in anger you threw the bedcovers off of your small form and stormed over to the door, yanking it open only to be met with the stomach of your purple-haired father.
"What are you doing out of bed?" He muttered, looking down at you.
"Uh...well...I was...getting...getting a drink?" You smiled sheepishly.
"Uh huh,Very believable, now get back into bed before I get angry" Kanato glared at the young boys retreating form.
"But...I can't sleep" You sniffled as a phew fake tears dripped from your cheeks (you had learnt this trick from Kanato). Slowly a small evil smirk came to Kanato's face and an evil thought crossed his mind
"Then I suggest you find a way to sleep otherwise the monsters will get you, I wouldn't want to walk in on a mangled corpse of my son, okay?" His smirk not leaving his face as he turned to leave, only imaging the expression on yours as he left.
Let's just say the boy didn't sleep well that night.
