They say that a perfect life is unreachable, that everyone must go through some sort of tragedy that will shape who they are today. Of course, if you were to tell that to Sasuke Uchiha, he would look at you and chuckle. To him, his life was beyond perfect. He had everything he could ever possibly imagine. He spent years at Konoha University to get his degree in Criminal Law, but he went tuition free, thanks to all the scholarships he received while still in high school. Now, he was the Chief Leader of the Konoha Police Force, alongside his father, who he looked up to since he could remember. His older brother, Itachi, was their lead detective, which helped the brothers keep their strong relationship. His best friend, Naruto, was the beloved Mayor of Konoha, and Sasuke ended up being the Best Man at his and Hinata's wedding. Which, if you ask Sasuke, he wasn't crying, he swears up and down that it was starting to rain. But, those weren't the main reasons he believed his life was perfect, he was most proud of his family, the ones who loved him most.

Throughout Sasuke's childhood, he had countless amounts of friends. He was the most popular and liked kid throughout elementary and middle school. Once high school hit, everyone knew who he was, even the freshmen when he was a senior. There was a certain group, however, who remained his true friends even after high school. He loved everyone within that group, but there was always one he had more love for. A certain girl by the name of Sakura Haruno. At first he didn't really like her, she was shy, like his other friend, Hinata, and she never spoke to him, or even stood by him in elementary school. But, once middle school started, it was like she was a whole new person. Everyday Sakura would come up to him at his locker and just talk to him like he was a long lost friend. This continued on into high school, where he eventually built up the courage to ask her out their Sophomore year. They had their occasional fights and arguments, and even broke up a few times through college, but they always found their way back to each other.

When Sasuke brought up the idea of marriage during one of their nights out, Sakura nearly choked on her food. Sasuke explained that his mother kept mentioning it every time we would go over for a visit. Sakura jokingly mentioned to the Uchiha that the only way she would say yes was if he proposed during Konoha Leaf Baseball Game. Sure enough, once the baseball season started up, Sasuke left his seat during the seventh-inning stretch and walked down onto the field, with permission of course. Sakura was lead down onto the field, unsuspectingly. Once she was in the middle of the field, Sasuke walked over to her and knelt down on one knee, pulled out a little black box and smiled up at the pink-haired beauty. Nervously, he opened the box to reveal a gorgeous engagement ring, smiling when he heard Sakura gasp and cover her mouth. He managed to get his question out, receiving a resounding, "Yes!" from his now fiance.

The engagement lasted the rest of their college years. Sakura received a permanent job at Konoha hospital under the wing of the Director, Tsunade, and Sasuke was starting off at the Police Force. Once they finally had the right amount money, even after receiving money from both of their parents, they held the wedding. They sent out over 1,000 invitations, not expecting everyone to show up, but the day of the wedding, every single person invited showed up.

Two years had passed since their wedding and they were still very much in love. To Sakura, everyday felt like their honeymoon, especially in the evenings. At the start of their marriage, they had used protection, wanting to wait until everything was stable enough to even try to start a family. Within those two years, Sasuke moved up in the Police Force, receiving raise after raise, and Sakura became the head Surgeon of Konoha Hospital. They had bought their first house around Christmas time, a two story house nestled near their friends, who also found love within the group.

Finally, the day came. Sakura had secretly taken 5 pregnancy tests that morning while Sasuke was at work. The 5 minutes she had to wait for the first one felt like an eternity, but once she heard the alarm go off from her phone, she jumped off the bed and ran into their bathroom, picking up the test to reveal a + sign. Sakura immediately began crying and smiling, she waited a few more hours and took 4 tests, all of them revealing the same fate. Sakura wanted so badly to call Ino, TenTen, and Hinata, who was also expecting her first child, and give them the good news, but knew Sasuke should be the first to know.

Sasuke came home that night around 7 p.m., he walked through the door and kicked off his shoes, hanging his keys on the key rack as he called out to his wife, announcing he was home. He heard footsteps walking down the hallway and smiled up at her. Sakura grinned and wrapped her arms around the Uchiha, kissing him gently. She led him into their living room and sat him down, a smile was still on his face, but he was oh so confused on what his wife was doing. She ran into their bedroom and came out a few minutes later, laying each test down on the coffee table. She stood in front of them, her hands held behind her back and smiled down at Sasuke. She explained to him that she had a surprise for him and stepped out of the way. He leaned over where he was sitting and looked down at the table, his mouth widening in shock and happiness.

9 months later their princess arrived, Sasuke smiled down at his wife and new daughter, admiring the little human he helped create. Sakura hummed as she rocked Sarada back and forth, hardly noticing all the visitors that came in and out, unless the took her from her arms. Naruto nudged Sasuke as Hinata and Sakura introduced Boruto, their 2 month old son, to Sarada. The blonde teased on how Boruto could end up making them family, receiving a violent pat on the back from the new father. Everything was perfect.
