Ch.18

Zayn POV
As we soon got into the dining room, and since the table was a circle, I sat next to Lauren and then Sam, then Camila, then Harry, then Daisy and then Ally who was also next to me

"So I made some chicken casserole and a tossed salad to go with it" Ally said smiling as we all grab the pieces

I look to see Camila putting food into Sam's plate and Ally putting food into Daisy's plate

I felt a tap and turn to see Lauren with her green eyes with that golden fleck to the side

"Can you pass me the salad" she says as I nodded smiling grabbing her the bowl and giving it to her, I watch her as she put some into her plate and took it back putting it into place

"So how was everyone's day" Camila ask randomly making a few of us chuckle

But Sam raising his hand up high making Camila laugh

"Go ahead" Camila said as Sam smiled and begin talking about his day

"So today when I was in class Johnny brought his pet turtle and the teacher didn't know because he left the turtle, oh the turtles name was frank, so frank was in Johnny's backpack, and it wasn't until lunchtime, that frank jump out or fell out of Johnny's backpack and the teachers around were all trying to catch the turtle but because we had lunch outside it was hard finding him in the grass" Sam said finishing with grabbing a spoonful of casserole

"That is quite a story there"Harry said as Sam smiled widely

"Thank you, Johnny was sent to the big office, where all the people with walkie talkie go into" Sam said

As Harry was about to speak, but Laurens phone rang making her reach into her purse she brought and looked at the screen

I knew for a moment she was not happy by the name because her smile went away

"Excuse me a moment I have to take this" she said getting up as I grab onto her wrist softly

"What's wrong" I said quietly so the kids don't hear

"Just work" Lauren said walking out, me watching her

"God I hope it isn't Tomy again" Harry sighed as I saw Camila frown

"Tomy, the intern? What he do" I ask

"There is a rumor he's spreading the company's details to other company's, again" Harry said

"Again like he done this before" Ally said as Harry nodded

"We let him off the chase because he's a kid, and plus he needs the money" Harry said as Ally look confused

"He gets paid? Isn't he an intern" Ally ask as Harry nod

"Jauregui Industry pays anyone who works with us, like we are worth billions and billions of dollars, I mean we can never go down" Harry said

"But if he's getting paid, why is he giving other company's your company details" Ally ask

"That is what we were trying to figure out, but he told us he needed the money, but we kind of know he's lying" Harry said looking at Daisy and Sam to see they were in their own worlds eating Ally's casserole

"I think I should go check on her, she's been gone for 10 minutes" I said as everyone nodded

I got up and walked to the front door where I could hear screaming, not loud but enough for me to notice it was screaming

I open the door to Lauren angry all over her face shouting into her phone

"I will not stand this kind of behavior, I will give your internship away to someone who deserve it, we don't tolerate people who back stab others" Lauren said angrily

"No I will not give you a chance you are done, I will want your paper on my desk tomorrow "Lauren said and hanging up before he could speak

She then turn to me and was surprise I was standing there

"Oh Zayn did you hear that" She said as I nod and she sigh

"Sorry you had to see that" she said as I shake my head

"No it's your job, it's what you do. People who deceive you too many times don't deserve another chance" I said as she smiled

"Lets go back in, I want to forget about work and enjoy my night" She said as I smiled and walked in with her in front of me

We both sat back down and began out conversations on many random things

After the next 20 minutes we got to desert which was brownies making Daisy and Sam squeal

After desert Ally left back home saying it was getting late

After I wash Sam and Daisy, dressed them into their clothing and to bed they went leaving me, Lauren, Camila and Harry

"Well me and Camila should head back home, Lauren you coming along" Harry ask as Lauren shook her head

"I think I'm gonna sleepover here with Zayn" Lauren Saud making me smile

"Oh and Harry, if you see Tomy make sure to get his papers, tomorrow is his last day" Lauren said as Harry nodded

"Will do sis" Harry said as he grab Camila's waist, leaving through the door

Lauren walked back to the living room and sat on the couch

"You know I really don't know any of your friends" Lauren said making me look at her

"Well to be honest I don't really have much friends, the only I could think of is Liam, he was the one who helped me with this job" I said as she nodded

"Liam huh sounds very Irish, is he Irish" Lauren ask as I laugh

"No definitely not, he's British. But now to think of it there's also Niall he's Irish" I said as she nod

"Niall Horan" she ask as I nod

"Ah I see you made friends with your employee buddy" she says as I nod

"Don't know a Liam though" she said

"Maybe one day I'll introduce you to him" I said making her turn her head to me and smiled

"I'll like that" she said

Well here it is, I'm really am sorry about late update but ill make it up to you all
