Her Mortal Enemy
After conversing about us, Dad and Tita had a separate talk. And now, the two of us are just silent again. What should we talk about anyway?
Dinner started.
Hay salamat! Gutom na rin ako.
We started to ate.
At the middle of the meal, nagsimula na naman ang kwentuhan. And it's about me and RJ again.
"You know what, Hijo. If there's only one man I would like to give my daughter's hand, it would be YOU."
I almost choke with what dad said.
RJ chuckled.
"Dad!" saway ko sa kanya. Mygad!
"I agree, Rodrigo! I think both of you should go out after dinner. What do you think, Johnny?" -Tita
WHAT?! Hello, we should actually talk business here. Not the dating thingy. Binubugaw ba nila kami sa isa't isa ha?
"Of course, why not! After all, we've been going--"
I stepped on his foot.
"Awww!" assh*le! Is he planning to tell them about us?!
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to." kunwareng di ko sinasadya.
I glared at him again. Subukan lang nyang sabihin, matitikman nya ang bagsik ng 4 inch heels ko. Tingnan ko lang kung hindi mabutas paa nya mamaya! Bwiset!
"No, it's ok." -RJ
I faked a smile at him.
Isa pa.
"What were you saying, Johnny?" -Tita
"Ahh, I said..."--he's staring at me--"why not. After all, we've known each other since childhood."
Ayan. Buti naman. Masunurin ka rin palang bata
"Great! That's very great, Rafael! Finally, my daughter is going out again. She had a very bad experience with her ex-boyfriend before."
