Today, I will have my after-Games interview.

I walk onstage, with a bright blue dress that is puffy and mid-calf length.

I smile and wave to the crazy looking Capitol people.

"Will you please sing for us again?" Caesar asks right off the bat.

I start to sing, giving him an answer

"When the pain cuts you deep,
And the night keeps you from sleeping,
Just look And you will see
That I will be
I will be
Your remedy

When the world seems so cruel,
And your heart makes you feel like a fool,
Just look and you will see
That I will be
Yes, I will be
Your remedy"

The crowd goes even wilder than before.

"Encore! Encore!" Caesar shouts.

"I'm bleeding out
So, if the last thing that I do,
Is bring you down,
I'll bleed out for you
So, I bear my skin
and I count my sins
And I close my eyes
And I take it in,
I'm bleeding out
I'll bleed out for you
For you

When the day has come
That I've lost my way around
And the seasons stop
And hide beneath the ground

When the sky turns grey
And emptiness is all you feel
I will reach inside just to find my heat is beating.

You tell me to hold on
Oh, you tell me to hold on
But innocence is gone,
And what was right is wrong

'Cause I'm bleeding out
So if the last thing that I do
Is bring you down
I'll bleed out for you
So I bear my skin
and I count my sins
and I close my eyes
and I take it in,
I'm bleeding out
I'll bleed out for you,
For you."

The crowd goes wild.

I sit down on the white leather seat. The one that Matthias sat on. The one that makes me want to cry.

"So, Melissa, what was it like, when you saw Matthias drowning?" He asks.

"Well, Caesar, it was very surprising, very depressing, until I tried to save him, but failed. Then, I knew that I had to live. Because he couldn't live for me." I say.

Even Caesar is tearing up now.

"How does it feel to be Victor?" He asks.

"It-. It feels very depressing. Knowing that you stole innocence lives, leaves you to feel almost empty inside. Almost like you have nothing." I answer.

I can tell that Finnick feels the same way. The same way that I feel, because he lost Cynthia Alright. I lost Matthias Matthews.

He asks no more questions. He just simply closes off the show.

"Melissa O'dair, one of the two halves of the star-crossed lovers of District 4!"

I am then cleared to leave, and I go see Finnick.

"You did great." He tells me. But something doesn't feel right.

Almost like that's not the real Finnick speaking to me.

Almost like this is not my Finnick speaking to me.
