"Alice! Be careful! your mother would kill me if she knew I let you climb that tree!" My seven year old girl flashed me a smile and I saw a glimpse of her Ice blond hair before she continued up the pine tree.
"Don't worry Dad, I'll go and get her." Alice's twin brother, Jeff, ran to get his sister down from the tree.
"Matt!" I cringed. My wife, Erin came running out of the house.
"Yes?" She shot me a glare.
"We were just having fun." I whined. She rolled her eyes, but then laughed at my puppy dog expression.
"Come on you two, lets go eat dinenr." They ran inside and e all sat down for dinner. As I sat at the table, watching my two beautiful children, and my wonderful wife. I knew that this moment, right here, described happiness to its full extent. And to think, it all started because of a strange hairstyle.
