Different

All Alone

 "Hello? Is anyone here?" My voice echoed through out the empty roads and mountains.

 I sighed as I sat down on the broken pavement. It was pitch black out here when there are no lights to take away the stars. 

 This was my comfort place. So quiet and just hearing the birds chirp and the butterflies fly past. It might be dangerous to sit in the middle of the road but it isn't. Why? Well because no cars come this way.. 

 After a couple minutes of sitting down on the cold pavement I got up to my feet. I walked to a hill that you could see for miles on end. That is when I saw something. Something with head lights coming this way! No one ever came down this road because like I said earlier, it isn't on the map. My lips cracked a smile and my heart started to beat faster. 

 Maybe someone is here looking for me, I thought. Thinking about maybe someone caring about me made my heart beat faster. Someone looking  for me. I turned around as I saw the cars head lights get closer by the minute. I quickly ran back to my spot but instead of the side of the road, I ran into the trees to hide. 

 When I got into the trees I sighed looking down at the road below me. I heard the car get closer and closer when I saw it right with my own eyes. I saw the car go past me but after a couple seconds of it passing me, I saw it pull over. It pulled over!

 I heard the car door slam and I saw the person. As he got closer to the tree I was in, I laughed without realizing it. I quickly covered my mouth and I heard the voice.

 "Hello? Is anyone here?" His voice echoed. Then he looked up in my direction and then to the other side of the road. That voice sounded familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it.. 

I put that thought in the back of my mind. Might as well see who it is now. I might not ever see him again. As this thought came flooding back in while trying to block them out, I fell from the tree.

"Owww.." I whispered as I laid there on the misty grass. 

"Are you okay?!" The boy asked running to me. Of course I am okay. I am just dandy.. By the way, I was kidding.

"That hurt." I tried to crack a smile and apparently he did too.

Good start, Ally.

I picked my head up when he reached out a hand to help me up. What is he is just another one of those creepers? He doesn't look like one.. But like I say, don't judge a book by its cover. I shook off this thought as I grabbed his hand. And when I got up, he didn't let go.

Another good start!

"Are you okay?" He repeated.

"I am fine thank you." I laughed as I brushed myself off.

"I'm sorry, my name is-" He was interrupted by me somehow...

I knew that was all too real.. I thought to myself. I sighed as I sat cross-legged on a branch.

Another lonely day here to come.
