Kiss It All Better

Start from the beginning

I smiled.

"We booked our flight those years ago
You said you loved me as you left me.
Regrets still haunt your saddened head,
But I promised you that I will see you.

We booked our flight those years ago
I said I loved you as I left you
Regret's no longer in my head,
But I promised you and now I'm home again, again, again, I'm home again, again, again.

I'm home again," he finished the song and I began clapping.

"Amazing, but I have something that can top that," I said taking the guitar from him and beginning to play.

"Oh you do, do you?"

"You cross my mind when I'm sleeping
I dream of you when I wake up
I cross my heart and hope to fly away if I can't have you
I think of you in the afternoon, when I keep my thoughts to myself
You say that I don't know you, but I know some thing you don't," I sang trying to sound like Christofer Drew.

I watched Ricky, he smiled as I sang.

"I won't stop till I have you
till you're mine
I won't be just fine
till you're mine
I won't sing another f***ing note until you're mine, all mine, all mine
until you're mine, all mine, all mine

Staying up all night, waiting for a likeful compromise
But you're alright, and you're just gonna sleep down on the floor
Seeing I can't close my eyes, cause you're lying three feet to my side
But you're alright
and you're just gonna sleep down on the floor, face down
Trying to catch some rest," I continued.

I came to the chorus and put my heart into it.

"I won't stop till I have you
till you're mine
I won't be just fine
till you're mine
I won't sing another f***ing note until you're mine, all mine, all mine
until you're mine, all mine, all mine
I won't sing another note until you're mine, all mine, yeah all mine," I finished.

"Amazing! Give me the guitar," he said holding out his hand. I gave him the guitar.

"If it hurts this much,
Then it must be love,
And its a lottery,
I can't wait to draw your name.
Oh I'm trying to get to you,
But time isn't on my side,
The truths the worst I could do,
And I guess that I have lied," he began singing Always Attract by You Me At Six. "Keeping me awake,
It's been like this now for days,
My heart is out at sea,
My head all over the place,
I'm loosing sense of time,
And everything tastes the same,
I'll be home in a day,
I fear thats a month to late.

That night i slept,
On your side of the bed so,
It was ready when you got home,
We're like noughts and crosses in that
Opposites always attract."

I smiled. He did have a great voice, and I was going to cut in.

"You've taken me to the top,
And let me fall back south
You've had me at the top of the pile,
And then had me kissing the ground
We've heard and seen it all,
No ones talked us out,
The problems that have come
Haven't yet torn us down," he continued.

"Am I keeping you awake,
If I am then just say,
You can make your own decisions,
You can make your own mistakes,
I'll live and let die
All the promises you made,
But if you lie another time,
It'll be a lie thats to late," we both sang at the same time. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"That night I slept,
On your side of the bed so,
It was ready when you got home,
We're like noughts and crosses in that
Opposites always attract.

And you always have your way,
For now it to soon for you to say,
Will we be always, always?

You had your way," we finished.
