"That was a nice brunch, right love?" He says while driving.

"Yeah, it was." I say with a small smile.

I need to go home...Moms probably worried about me.

As much as I enjoyed a small amount of time with Harry, I don't think anything will happen between us. I just don't see it.

We both stay quiet with the radio playing Bruno Mars on repeat.

"Here you are."Harry says while stopping the car.

"Wait a minute, how did you know where I live?" I say with my eyes wide open.

"Don't look at me that way," he laughs.

"I got the directions from Taylor."

"Oh, well thank you." I say stepping out of the car.

"By the way I brought your car here." He points out.

I look and see my car there.

"How?" I ask forgetting I left it at the park.

"Doesn't matter." He bluffs.

"Look, I'm sorry about that night."

"Sorry about what?" I ask.

"When I...well you know. Lets take baby steps." He offers.

"Goodbye Harry." I say going into my house.

Baby steps? Like what? Getting to know each other?

I walk in to my house and immediately get interrogated by my mom.

"Stel! Your home!" My mom says while running to me in her apron.

She quickly squeezes me and makes me gasp for air. She's never like this unless I'm gone for more than 12 hours.

"Mom, chill. I was only gone for a little while." I say looking at her.

"I know. But I missed you!" She screams.

I probably should have stayed with Harry longer. My own mother gives me anxiety.

"I'll be in my room." I quietly whisper.

"I'm going to make you dinner." She practically forces.

"I literally just ate." I complain.

"I'll make it just in case." She says.

I walk into my room and I just lay on my bed.

I should call Taylor and tell her how the brunch went.

"Stella!" My mother calls.

I barely even got time to settle in!

What could she want now?

"You have a guest." She yells.

Harry? Why would he be here again? He literally just dropped me off.

"Taylor's here." She says.

"Oh, why couldn't you just say Taylor's here?" I say with annoyance.

"We'll hi to you to! Were you expecting Harry..?" Taylor says with a sky grin.

"No, I was ju-" I say when my mom interrupts me

"Harry?" She says with a disgusted look on her face.

"Not now mom." I say rolling my eyes.

"No! I want to kn-" My mom stutters.

"He's my friend." Taylor spits out.

"He is?" My mother and I say in unison.

"Yeah." she says.

"Well. Why wouldn't you just tell me Stella?" My mom says rolling her eyes to me.

"Im just tired." I lie.

"Lets go out Stel." Taylor offers.

"I was just about to make you dinner." My mom whines to me.

"I didn't meant to intrude." Taylor says putting her hands in mid air.

"Your fine." I say.

"Want to join?"

"I guess." Taylor smiles.

"I'll cook you girls a nice meal. I need to go pay the bills after so you'll have the house to yourselves." My mother says while walking into the kitchen.

"This late?" I ask.

"It's not that late Stella. It's barely 3." She says.

"To go to work?" I say.

"Look I'm leaving to go run a few errands okay." She shuts me up.

"Okay." I roll my eyes and laugh with Taylor.

"Why would you mention Harry?" I whisper to Taylor.

"I'm so sorry, it slipped out. But we're you really expecting him? I saw it in your eyes." She grins.

I was... actually.

"I don't know maybe." I say truthfully.

"Stel!" She laughs and hits me playfully.

"What? I was..." I say looking down.

"You like him don't you." She says quietly so my mom doesn't hear.

"I don't know. I'm confused." I lie.

I do like him.

"Well all I can say is I can't wait to find out what happens between you two." She smiles.
