"I like you, Kenji-kun!"
He just stares at me with a blank face. Several seconds have passed, yet he still didn't say a thing. The silence was becoming uncomfortable.
"K-Kenji-kun?" I asked hesitantly.
He stared at me with an uninterested look.
"Y-You're not gonna s-say a thing?" I stuttered.
"No. It's not as if you asked me a question." He answered nonchalantly with a straight face.
My heart just broke into a million pieces, and I can feel all my blood rushing to my face in embarrassment.
"Y-yeah...well, you got a point. Hehehe."
"Is there something else?" He asked.
I looked down. I want to hide into a hole, and never go out again. This is embarrassing! Why the hell did I decide to do this again?!
"No." I answered with a low voice. I can't meet his eyes.
"Okay." He said, then he walked away. He never looked back.
And as he walk away, I made a promise not to cross paths with him again. You'll see...I'll move on. Just you see.
