The beautiful sunrise,
It's out with the warmth of day,
With the wind in disguise,
With the water in the bay,
How I wish you were here,
How I wish you can see it.
Can you see it?
The grass as it swayed,
The tress that danced,
The cloud that moves around,
Can you see it?
I wonder every day,
As you sleep beneath me, where you lay,
Do ever think about me?
Can you think about me?
How I grew from 1 to 16,
How I learned to walk,
How I learned to talk,
How I learned to brush my teeth,
Do you ever think about me?
I think about you,
How you never reached 50
How you will never be forgotten,
How you'll always be a brother, a son, a friend, and a father,
How I will always be your daughter,
Dad, are you looking down from heaven, to see?
Are you still right beside me?
